Top notch guys, messaged u guys today on fb n still stoked with what I received from entering to leaving. Not 1 complaint and im not easily pleased when it comes to food but hat off. Food was absolutely amazing. You can tell when walk into a place and ceilings and walls arnt cover in a shine of grease that this place has respect not only for themselves but for what they do. At the end of the day like the rest of us all a service needs to rendered when dealing with the public and your service and quality is amazing. Hooked Fish and Chippery was spotless—I didn’t notice the oily smell you often get at fish and chip shops. The staff were polite and the service was impressively fast. The crumbed fish was fresh and crisp, and the burger hit the mark: perfectly sized with a satisfying crunch and a soft, fluffy bun. The potato cakes were also crisp and delicious, and nothing we ate tasted greasy. They must be using top-quality oils. I never understood what people said when they describe fish as flakey. I now know!! HOOKED have nailed it!! Every single bite of the fish cooked perfectly and the batter was just as good. There was a clear separation between the two which was a bit messy to eat but that made it even better!! That’s when you know you won’t get any uncooked batter to just fries pure goodness. Tartare was good. I think it has garlic too which made it even better!!

Very generous serving, could probably feed two people. If you’re out of town or haven’t tried this place...
