I visited at night on 12th of April, 2021 with my co-workers after really hard day to have dinner. We ordered more than $150 with 6 meals plus 2 family packs.
We were waiting more than 10 minutes even we were only customers at the restaurant but it was acceptable because these days many teenagers are on the training in many places for their life journey. However, once I received my order, a nightmare just bagan. All my orders (6 meals and 2 packs) were messy in paper bags so my co-workers and I could not see what we ordered. So I asked them "some of us would like to take away, can you please make it in separate bags?" Then they rudely replied to me "please take your food over the desk and you can do yourself". I was really shocked because I was trying to communicate to solve my complaint, I was not interrupting their work. Even that(because I did not make any more problems, I was too tired) I took my orders to my seats to find my burgers. Again I could not find it because there was (on the burgers which were more than 6) no signs to recognise which burger is. So I asked again then the manager Sarah was really rude to explain (I am still not sure what was wrong with her, now I am thinking that because I am not native English speaker or I do not look Australian even I am Australian citizen). I and my members did not expect such a fine dining restaurant service quality but I cannot believe that Townsville people could accept this kind of service?.
At the last, one of my members asked to get tomato sauces then they just whacked some over the counter.

Read moreThe only reason I gave one star was I couldn’t give zero , we ordered our meal in an empty store with only one other lady (who was waiting for her order to be corrected , not once but twice ) and one car in the drive thru , our fairly basic order was still not ready 38 minutes after we ordered ( not exactly fast food , if I had that time to spare I would have been at home cooking ) , one lady came in after us and waited for a long time too before complaining which got her order pushed in front of ours !! , we had young hungry children who were getting upset so seeing no progress on our order ( none of which had been even started) we decided to ask for a refund, the manager was rude and had an attitude and no explanation to offer as the store and drive thru were still empty , this was very unprofessional and unfortunately reflects badly on the HJ franchise, I do not recommend this store at all and I should have read the copious amounts of prior poor reviews regarding this store , it is a disappointment to the hungry jacks franchise and leaves me feeling unlikely to buy from the franchise in the future, to the owner of the store , unfortunately your staff are letting you and HJ’s down it may be time for an over haul starting with the...
Read more4/5/25 1pm It’s so bad. Like probably the worst in Australia bad. I walked in for door dashing. There were like 10 people waiting. One guy had ordered a frozen coke. He was there for 20 mins. Probably even longer, I’m just estimating on how long I was there before walking out of the store without any orders. A older man who was ignored the first time yelled out that this young guy had been waiting for ages. Turns out his order was sitting on the counter this whole time. I witnessed a woman trying to get a staff members attention and she wouldn’t turn her back at all. Just completely ignored her. No one is getting served. The staff ignore you. The store is also disgustingly filthy. There is no management or support for the 2 workers on yesterday copping the abuse from customers because they were frustrated from not being served. It would be better for everyone if this store just closed its door and let something else open there. Maybe a store that guides and supports it workers.
