Zero stars if it were possible. Ordered food at 5.30pm for an estimated 35-45 minute wait. Order was "being prepared" for TWO HOURS before LEAVING the shop for delivery. Estimated time just keep getting longer and longer. 2.5 hours in the end.

Upon arrival, my huuuuge feed of ONE piece of fish and HALF A SERVE of chips was cold. The last, desperate bits of warmth could be seen leaving the chips as I unwrapped them. I'm convinced the fish was caught and processed at Clark Rubber.

My super small meal came in at nearly $17, PLUS delivery fee AND a $5 tip that I pre paid. Well, that little bonus shall no longer be forthcoming from me for ANY delivery company, as there doesn't seem to be a way to be refunded for the good service I did not receive. You may just have to pay the drivers a decent salary / fee (It's not my issue that they are contractors).

I see the owner has responded and called me a liar. They shouldn't do that. Attached is a screenshot from my email inbox showing the time my order was placed. Not only poor service, but a fraud as well. Very sad. I sure did contact them via Facebook after two hours. They are full of it. Dodgy as. Can't even take ownership of a screw up. Should have asked for a refund. Still might.

Save your money!

Terrible takeaway shop across the board. Terrible quality fish & chips. The crumbing or whatever they use is gritty & hard. Half the sweet potato scallops were burnt & shrivelled, the others soggy (clearly old)!? Chips were ok but you get maybe half a cup for over $10! The shop was dirty with broken furniture sitting around. The staff are rude & unhappy. They either don't speak at all (or smile) or are too busy eating right in front of you at the front counter to serve anyone until they're ready.? Terrible place! Owner, before you reply and fob us off as "not the customer for us". Yes, I have read how you treat other small star reviewers. FYI people do not place "false" reviews on places insignificant like yours so the bad reviews you are getting are put up for good reason.?

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately the food we ordered that night was for dinner after a death in our family so you and your staff weren't the only people with bad news that day. The circumstances you stated do not help the experience we had there that night or the food we received. My review is...

The service started out pleasant. But get a receipt and check your order before you leave as they took our order and repeated it back then missed some of our order only to tell us that we never ordered it and I couldn’t provide a receipt to prove we paid for it.and the person I spoke to about the situation was rude and zero help.And it is true you don’t like honest feed back about your store.And not only is the person I spoke to rude but a liar as well I never abused anyone never even spoke a bad word to him just that I was disappointed .And going off your last reply just how dishonest you are just proves my point .No need to get all tough over a review making threats isn’t good...
