May 2025 . We had a reservation for 8 and ordered 4 types of meal, only the fish and pasta meals were enjoyed. 5 of the 8 meals were roast of the day and fish salad, they were lost and took 55 minutes to arrive. Our host Melinda deserves a medal as she quickly compensated for the poor experience, none caused by her.
The worst part for me was the condition of the men's toilet I spoke to people in Gympie and they say the building is operated by ALH and owned localy, I am sending the bathroom pictures to ALH head office. ...............2023 and It's years since I visited and now owned by AHL, Woolworths basicaly. We had 3 different meals and all were good, we ordered from the table online and got desert for $5 each which was novel. The menu was simple but over priced for the the quality of the bistro which had people traffic between the gaming area and public bar. Read moreI have never experienced such rude and appalling service! After waiting 20 minutes at the bar for a service, I went looking for the bar attendant as there is no bell or any other way of getting anyone’s attention. When I found her I asked politely ‘hey excuse me, can we please get some more drinks’ to which before even finishing my sentience, I received an abrupt snarl saying ‘yea I’ll get there when I can’ as she walked in the other direction. Once she had come into the bar area, she continued to snarl saying that she has other things to be doing as well, and at that moment a red headed woman run out from a back room yelling ‘did you whistle at us, we are not F*G dogs’ and then stormed back off to the back room. No one was whistling at the bar staff, there is a correct way of handling a situation and a wrong way. Spraying verbal abuse at patrons is not the correct way and completely unacceptable. Read moreMy family and I went for dinner, my partner,my son and his gf went and ordered meals while I watched bubs, than went to get drinks, they ask for a orange juice for bubs, and the chick behind the bar fills it not even half of the glass and still charges full price, like fill the glass up, and than they give little kids bags with a coloring book and crayons they handed one of them over to my son's gf begrudgingly Then they brought bubs meals out about 20 minutes after we ordered, than we waited for another 30 minutes for our meals to arrive, my partner order steak rare well it came out medium, I order medium rare knowing that than I usually get medium, well I got well done, the salad was dry and looked like a few days old, chips where cold, we didn't send it back because how long we already had waited, not impressed, won't...
