Cheese and bacon pies are superb, so good in fact we went back for seconds. The multi grain bread is great and so are their cream buns. We have been back many times and always had great food with friendly and helpful service. If I lived in Monto I would be the size of a house!

Subsequent to my review I was surprised to read of anyone having a cold pie. We have visited Monto on many occasions and never leave without having pies, breakfast time, morning tea, lunch - we don't discriminate. They have always been piping hot, fresh and delicious. Positive - pies have good flavour

Negative - about 85% of the time the pies are cold, frozen or barely warm.

I had my pie dropped in front of me (in the bag) and handed to me mushed up in the bag.

On few occasions I have gone in early mornings to get a pie. When I ask for a certain one the lady rolls her eyes at me and say “I’ll just go microwave it”. Gosh I’m sorry your job is so hard.

Absolutely amazing! It is the best bakery we have ever been to. We love coming there on our day off, and always makes an excuse just to go down and have their delicious goods.
