Wow!! A MUST IF YOU'RE GOING THROUGH YARRAMAN! only a little cafe opposite the pub on the main road- hard to see, but worth the stop! Hospitality and 6 star out of 5.

CASH ONLY which would be the only negative, Should really have 2 methods of being able to pay- But an ATM next door (people in front of us walked out as soon as they read it)

Lu is a joyful hostess who flourishes in the kitchen. Her home cooked meals whether breakfast or lunch are a delicious meal of her own creation. Lu is a great baker and bakes many old school recipes forgotten by most people. Everyone's made welcome and comfortable. Lu will cook to order and cares about special diets. Her portions are generous and local, non chemical meats are used. Something that most don't consider is the fact Lu uses olive oil and not cheap vegetable or Canola oils which clog up our arteries. Neither does she mix oils so in other words, Lu doesn't cut corners but always goes the extra mile. ...

We visited Pink Flamingo (Sept. 28, 2024) and bought a coffee, hot chocolate, a fresh biscuit and a kilo of Yowie Coffee beans. Although I thought $65 was pricey, I wanted to support a local Yarraman shop. Today I found out the same bag of beans I bought from Pink Flamingo, Yowie sells for $35!! Other small shops sell It slightly higher but no where near double!! Pink Flamingo should be ashamed of taking advantage of its customers. Beware of their pricing! A mark up to items sold is expected, but charging $30 over retail is ridiculous and shameful!
