Dropped in for breakfast with my partner and it was pretty decent overall.

The big brekky plate was classic—bacon, eggs, home-made hash brown, beans, mushrooms, tomato, buttered bread instead of toast, and a small side of chutney. Nothing groundbreaking, but it hit the spot. The bacon was crispy, eggs cooked well, and the mushrooms had a nice earthiness. Buttered plain bread should have been toasted but it was fresh and thick-cut. The chutney was a nice touch but gave a bit of a sweet kick.

The second dish—poached eggs with haloumi on a hash brown stack—was plated nicely and looked fresh, with some greens to balance it out. The haloumi was a bit bland, but not bad. The spinach was raw not cooked.

Drinks were a highlight—the "Tropical Dream"  juice came in a funky pineapple-shaped glass which was a fun touch, and it tasted fresh, maybe even squeezed on-site.

Menu leans toward classic Aussie with nothing too adventurous, but reliable.

Prices are fair for the portion sizes.

Service was friendly, atmosphere casual and comfortable. Plenty of light, a good mix of locals, and a relaxed vibe. Great for a low-key brekkie if you’re in the area and want...

We had a bad experience today and my hubby doesn't want to come back here. We ordered 2 cappuccino and some scone. We were sitting inside on the table right next to the entrance. It was a long wait, then the server she came in from outside holding this 1 cup of cappuccino already a bit cold and gave it to us, she said she made a mistake. It took awhile before getting the other cup of cappuccino and I asked them how come we only got one, we ordered 2 coffee at the same time? In my opinion, isn't it the right thing to do was they could have throw that cold coffee and made 2 new one since we ordered 2? and not only that it took awhile also getting the scone so I went to the counter to follow it up and saw the other server holding the scone from tables at the back so I told her that maybe that's ours? told her all our foods got lost, but I said that to her in a nice way. She came to us after few mins to offer us another cup of coffee which we declined . Anyway, we were very disappointed and didn't enjoy our coffee and scone because of...

I visited Relished Food + Gifts in early October 2023 during a road trip from the Sunshine Coast. Such a beautiful cafe' in the heart of Mareeba. The cafe's state of cleaniless was second to none and the ambiance and food conducive to dining at a restaurant rather than a cafe. The food was delicious, so fresh, and homemade by the owner of the cafe "Donna" who prides herself on only using the freshest of ingredients each day. I always order a 1/4 strength cappucino coffee when I dine out or ask for takeaway. I say with all honesty, that the current Barista at this cafe was able to meet my request - such an unexpected delight. I have rarely had my order for 1/4 strength cappucino made as I have requested it. I wish this fledgling cafe the very best of everything and highly recommend a visit to them. You will not be disappointed. I hope the local community...

This is a cute little cafe in Mareeba. It definitely feels like an attempt at a trendy cafe that you might find in a bigger city. I ordered the Relished Wrap which was basically a BLT with chicken and cheese. It was a 7/10. I also got a Dirty Chai. Unfortunately the chai was super watery and I could barely taste any espresso. I would give it a 5/10. The perks of this place is that there is plenty of seating. Even when it’s busy, you can find a spot. The staff were also super friendly.

The guy who took my order was friendly and cheerful. However, after waiting 30 minutes, I noticed people were receiving their food 5-10 minutes after sitting down. Had to go to the counter to ask on my meal's progress. It was brought out a few minutes later, and by its temperature I could tell it had been sitting around, neglected. Despite this, it was pretty nice. Not sure if this was a random isolated incident. It does happen to me now and then, always when as a solo diner.
