Spring Bluff Pancake Cottage — Restaurant in Queensland

Very disappointed with our trip here today. I booked a group of 7 and was given a table with 6 chairs, no biggy to begin with. Was served by a waitress that had no want of being there nor had no great customer service. We as a group ordered our meals seperatly at the same time being patient with the lass. Meals came out soon after but..a scrambled eggs is not fried egg chopped up, extra bacon is not 1 piece at 5 odd dollars, the sausage looked like dried old nuggets, the pancakes were more like a crepe and soggy and under cooked, the coffee sensation pancake had a strange flavour that was not coffee, and our last order came out 10mins after the other 6 much to say he was eating when everyone else was done. Yes we enquired to another young lass that had no great care in the world not to mention didnt come back out to inform us as to whats happened another table outside was then served meals, still awaiting our last, my husband ended up going in to see whats happened. Finally out comes the last 15 mins later raw middle and half melted whip cream. As you can imagine complaints went in one ear out the other, staff had no care, it wasnt a busy day at all. Went here last Sunday. Very nice atmosphere in a beautiful location next to the train line. Heard that the pancakes were great and was not disappointed. Staff was friendly. Was not too busy but there were other travellers there. For some reason the bugs were not that bad and the cafe was ventilated with open doors and windows. Each area is decorated differently. Feels more like you are visiting someone’s home. Since we were there before Christmas, there were plenty of interesting decorations. Lunch was delicious....

Nice enough staff who were kind enough to refund. Friend and I ordered frappes, hazelnut and mango. What we got was a substandard milkshake containing a glass of milk with some syrup, ice cream and cream. To save looking, the definition of a frappe is as follows - a drink served with ice or frozen to a slushy consistency. Please get that right otherwise happy refunding to those who order...
