Nice old pub but could do with some love, the restaurant area is rather stinky and the chairs are in need or repair. Delicious food and good value for money in that department. Only complaints again would be the smell and there should be a door between the TAB/bar and the restaurant as some blokes clearly get a little too roudy and need a bit of soap for their mouth.

Nice old pub, has character and bar staff Were friendly Good variety on the menu, good portion size, and not long to wait for meals. Has sports bar, pokies and dining area. Plenty parking out front Yummy crumbed steak with pepper sauce.. and loved Hawaiian pary. Good size kids meal with icecream for dessert

Country pub with huge meals and basic accommodation. Long wait the night we were there (fishing comp in town) but staff were busy and attentive. Meal was worth the wait. Donga accommodation is basic but has aircon and ensuite. Located in Main Street opposite railway park and bakery (a must visit).

First of all we have to thank you to that dark hair young girl who did take our order. She was helpful, smiling, polite, friendly and professional. We hope owners will note this. It's so hard nova days to find or have a such gem. She did help us with all orders and it was such a pleasure to deal with her. Thank you so much, we don't know your name but you did make such differences and enjoyable and pleasant time for us. Our cheese and garlic bread was nice. Lamb shank was absolutely delicious. So was my porterhouse steak. All served with chips and salad or veggie by your choice. Nice list of drinks too, whatever you are into. You will not make the mistake if you go there for...

We stopped here. Asked about accommodation, the lady in charge told us $200 a night for a donga, the bar lady said it had $120 written down, so she said oh my mistake. We booked and inspected it. It was terrible, 2 mattresses on top of each other for queen bed, no base. Very old and musty furnishings. Got our money back thankfully. Moved onto St George, much better, river views...
