Initially we were excited by the variety of the menu offerings. Two young employees who clearly would have preferred to have been anywhere else were the only staff we saw during our visit. Meals: ordered one of the 2 marked GF options on the menu, and confirming the chips were GF. Response: 'don't know' (no "I'll find out'). The same staff person came to table several minutes later, advising 'we don't have those' (what had been ordered) (no 'sorry we're out of that, would you like to order something else?'). Chose the 2nd marked GF option, only to be told 'we don't have that'.... Raisin toast was served blackened, as was one side of the open sandwich. Omelette with salmon ordered. Later advised 'we don't have salmon' by same employee without expression (again, no 'sorry we are out of salmon, is there something else you would like?'). We were unsure if there was any adult supervision or if the 2 young employees were it for a busy lunchtime service. Upon leaving and fixing up the difference in the bill (what had been paid for vs what we were able to be served) the question was 'what didn't you get?'.... I'm sure it would have been recorded on the til. Again, no acknowledgement of the various items ordered and unable to be served. Basic manners (and some customer service) would go a long way for those both working as the face of the business, as well as for the owners in their recruitment and training processes. Unfortunately, a...

If I could give no stars, I would. The lady that served me was nothing but rude! When asking for a warm hot chocolate for my 3 year old son she answered “ugh, how warm do you want it because the warmest is 65 degrees” and I replied “just warm, what ever is suited to a child” and with an eye roll she’s says “ugh well how old is the child” like it was such an issue for this woman! The attitude on this individual was pure disgusting and last I checked she makes coffee for a living so wouldn’t she know!. I would’ve thought it took just a bit of common sense - perhaps adding a little cold milk at the end - as a customer, I shouldn’t have to tell her how to do her job. After reading some of the reviews, the attitude of the staff seems to be a bit of an issue. Sounds like a staff review is needed, or better yet,...

Outstandingly disappointing. We arrived at 12:40 and ordered around 1. Everyone else received their food within 15-20 minutes apart from myself. It was then about 1:40 and I asked when my food was coming and they said they are making it now and shouldn’t be too much longer. Meaning that they had entirely forgot my order. Then when my order came out it was a bacon and egg burger when i ordered a chicken schnitzel burger. This staff service is atrocious. An addition to this is that there are no water jugs which meant no water was supplied. We then asked for some water and a staff member said I will get you some, later learning that this staff member was nowhere to be seen. Do not come here if you would like a good experience. I highly recommend going any place else apart...

Just had the most delicious breakfast at this lovely little cafĂ©! The eggs Benedict were spot-on – perfectly cooked eggs, rich hollandaise, and a flavor that hit all the right notes. The homemade sauce, in particular, was the best I’ve ever had; you can really taste the care they put into it. Service was also faultless – Katrina served me and was incredibly welcoming and friendly, which made the experience even better. This place is well worth a visit in my eyes! Only thing to note is the contactless surcharge, but that's out of the café’s hands.

As locals of Toowoomba, it was nice to step out just a short drive away. It was lovely walking into a cozy, simple, tidy cafe that prided themselves on welcoming atmosphere and service. Service was friendly and prompt. Coffee and food was lovely. Would definitely visit again, great job team.

What a gem ... 70's style service with 90's prices. Local family owned and run business that's a pleasure to visit. Great coffee and food, friendly atmosphere and loved by the locals. A nice touch is the local artwork on display and available for sale.
