The Pavilion Tavern — Restaurant in Queensland

I have seen this place years ago now it is far below the standard it was. Needs an upgraded to a modern tavern. This is slowly being upgraded as it now has several ways to gamble your money away, I think this type of upgrade is not good for the local residents. It is now Jan 2023 Change of managers, prices have increased 20 percent my last 3 pizzas have less filling on them and were all over cooked, in fact burnt, the Pav surrounds nowhere near the clean neat condition that had been! I visit a lot less now.

April 2023, surrounds well kept! Pizza price increased again less toppings and burnt again! Lost me!

28 December 2023 I did go back last night! I selected from the specials board steak & veg with mushroom sauce..AÙ $15.00 Very good, although bar staff need education on questions the need to ask on how the customer likes it cooked. Having recently purchased in the area, we thought we would do the local thing and get some lunch at the Country Club Pavilion,. Lunch is a non remarkable affair in this laid back corner of the world. There were about half a dozen tables already taken when we arrived but we were easily able to get an outside table. We opted for the special types of the house and chose between the large menu of burgers. What we received was two enormous burgers with sides of chips, we had heard of the burgers here and I can assure the readers that they will not be disappointed with this choice.

The building itself is part of the Ramada complex, this building has yet to be updated and it would appear the cleaner hasn't reached it either as the spiders have certainly taken up residence and there must be a lit if them as the ceiling is covered in cobwebs. The first time we went there for my birthday the pizzas were perfect gluten free we expected they would be the normal small gluten free small things. They ended up feeding 6 of us for two meals. The next time we went we only got two expecting it would do for lunch, but they were half the size, the base was clearly not cooked, the topping ended far away from the edge. So we still had to feed our kids more. $38 wasted. I gave 3 stars only because last time was so good, otherwise it would be 1 star. WE WILL NOT BE GOING THERE AGAIN AS PIZZA WAS THE ONLY GLUTEN FREE THING THERE, NOW THATS USLESS TO.

To be fair I'm updating this. I ended up to ging them and they completely remade all the pizzas again for us. I explained that's not what I wanted, just wanted to give feedback, and that we had eaten the first ones they still gave us...
