The Treehouse Restaurant delivers a fine dining experience in a beautiful setting. Listening to and looking at the Mossman River from above was a very special lunchtime experience. Our server, Bec, was friendly and attentive. We indulged in the 3 course menu. My friend opted to select from the dedicated vegetarian menu, whilst I opted to select seafood based courses from the regular menu. The appetisers set the scene for the rest of the meal. The house made focaccia was incredibly fluffy and light, encased in a perfect crust. The prawn was creamy and delicious and tempura oyster mushroom perfectly crisp. The following entrees were scrumptious and well balanced. My barramundi was a clean tasting blend of juicy flakiness in a super crisp skin. My friend’s eggplant was incredibly generous. Desserts were a highlight. The coconut sago dessert was actually a lemon explosion. The sago provided a little texture against a super smooth, tangy lemon gelato and bitter-sweet lemon marmalade. The chocolate cremeux was rich and insanely delicious and had every texture: smooth, bite, crisp. Little pops of orange segments provided a tart contrast to the slightly bitter cacao and semi-sweet caramel, which in turn was offset by the creamy vanilla and orange liqueur infused brownie bite. Treat yourself to an exquisite experience

Dining at the Treehouse Restaurant at Silky Oaks Lodge was magical, overlooking the rainforest and river every night. Over the course of three evenings, I experienced a new menu every night. I loved the creativity and skill of the culinary team. Each dinner felt unique and special, with a heavy emphasis on fresh, exquisite seafood—a personal favorite. The dishes were perfectly prepared, tons of great flavor, and beautifully presented. The staff were quick and fun. The variety and thoughtfulness behind each menu kept me excited to see what was next.

Surrounded by lush greenery and tropical rainforest, gazing at the clear, bright Mossman River, listening to the sounds of nature and birdsong, with Ulysses fluttering before your eyes, you enjoy fresh cuisine flavored with local ingredients and spices and attentive service. I can't imagine a more enjoyable and relaxing restaurant experience! Dining here is truly healing for the soul.

Tried to book in to have a dinner here with my fiancĂ© to celebrate our 3yrs + our engagement only to be told “nope, we’re only for people that stay with us. We’re an exclusive and and luxury restaurant” which would be all well and fine except my friend went there for dinner 2 weeks ago and wasn’t staying there
plus there website does not state anything about the restaurant only being available to people staying at the accommodation.

They lie and they do not give you the correct information on their website. They’ve ruined our dinner plans which is a shame because we where planning to spend around $400 on dinner here.

Should add you your website that your restaurant is exclusively only for residents of the resort for dinner. Considering you don’t have any information stating that and you’re refusing to let me book on the basis of that “rule” despite excepting my friend for dinner when she wasn’t a resident is the reason why I’m leaving this review.

Had your website stated that or had you not lied about not excepting visitors for dinner then I wouldn’t leave this review. It was a real shame, I was looking forward to having dinner here and spending +$400 celebrating a once in a lifetime experience. Your loss in revenue I...

Our lunch at The Treehouse Restaurant was the most amazing lunch experience I have ever had!! Set in the world’s oldest rainforest, up high looking over the peacefully flowing Mossman river. The open plan restaurant blends well into this magnificent environment. The staff were exceptional and extremely attentive. The service was first-class. The food was excellent and my vegetarian tastes were also well catered for. We both had 3 delicious courses. It also rained while we were there making the experience all the more magical. Highly recommend this restaurant & the entire Silky Oaks...
