Avanti Pizza & Pasta — Restaurant in South Australia

Ordered spaghetti carbonara on Uber, arrived,opened, bowl of oil at least 150ml ,non edible ,rang Avanti,got told Ubers fault,contact Uber, got in car took carbonara to Avanti to show Avanti manager who straight up said you will have to ask Uber for refund, funny I didn't ask for refund,I was there with bowl of oil to validate that a bowl of oil is not a delivery problem, the way it's made an Avanti problem, the finished product handed to delivery driver a problem, poor service and poor product -lost my business. Note:was offered cheesecake,turned down,I only expect what I order and pay for from a company , along with staff or a manager who will address the customer concerns with their product. Trying to fob off their problem to another company for a refund,poor form of service..you can't eat a bowl of oil or a refund. Replacement carbanora was as it should have been, but...

I placed an online order through Avantis website, quick and easy to navigate which is great. Delivery fee was also quite fairly priced as well which is awesome!

However, it did take 1 hour 20 minutes to arrive which isn’t really a problem providing the quality of food exceeds expectation, on this occasion it did not. Our meat lovers pizza was slightly burnt and didn’t really have a distinctive taste, our lamb Yiros pizza was also sub par in flavour, the real disappointment was the garlic bread, soft and soggy. It did have a pretty tasty flavour though I’ll give it that.

I was recommended this place and it did fall short this time round, I will return eventually and reassess my review with a follow up.

Avanti Pizza, what can I say. The Chips are definitely the best in Gawler by far, the Pizzas are average at best. Ordered a family Hawaiian, picked it up, went home to open it up and it was the wrong pizza. Wife rang and they basically said she was wrong and when they finally accepted the wrong doing they asked us to return with the said pizza and they will replace it. They didn't offer a free garlic bread or a drink for our trouble, when my wife mentioned it they said " we don't do that". Horrible service, sub par pizzas with low quality ingredients. Pizza Works Gawler if you're after quality pizzas...
