Bakery — Restaurant in South Australia

Stopped by en route from Port Fairy to Victor Harbour.... Purchased two coffees, 1 custard donut (which apparently isn’t a donut but when asked what it was was told 'its basically a donut'! 🤷‍♀️) and 1 blueberry cheesecake.... Coffee was an OK cup of coffee hence the 1 star - but, would probably have given no stars if I could have! Absolutely not worth the $24 it all cost, with 50% of the purchase ending up in the bin! The non donut donut was as dry as dry can be and I've never tasted custard that tasted like this! And then the blueberry cheesecake was also dry! All in all, both were definitely not worthy of being anywhere near a bakery let alone...

Only ones in there on a Monday at around 1.30pm and got served by a woman who made us feel like we were a nuisance…had a ham and salad roll for $10 which was gross 🤢 the bread was gluey, the ham looked like the gross prepackaged stuff and I was told no sauce because it makes the roll last longer in the display cabinet…(not something you should allude to customers). Went to meet others we were driving with as they got food at the Ampol, and that looked like a way better option! They did fresh made rolls which I would have gotten had I known. Went back and asked for mayonnaise and she rolled her eyes at me while shoving the bottle in my face 😟...

I wouldnt leave a 1 star if it wasnt justified. The lady serving really needs to learn customer service. She completely ignored me to talk to her co worker. I said hello, how are you? She ignored me and started mumbling something. I paid with card and she didnt even hand me the efptos machine. I had to reach over the counter to pay. She had real attitude. There was a sign behind her saying they are short staffed so please be kind... no wonder they are short staffed if they have to work with this lady. Wont be going there again and will tell others to avoid. If you want to work in customer service then actually give...
