Casa De Pan is a local bakery that has a reputation for 'home made' goods. Having been several times now I still have mixed feelings. The hot pies, pasties and sausage rolls are very tasty but the pastry is very bland and hard - not enjoyable at all 😪. Today I tried a sweet Danish style apple and sultana slice which was sweet - but rock hard pastry - and was nothing like the flaky treat you would expect. There were plenty of people buying vanilla slices, donuts and eclairs. The young woman behind the counter gave me a friendly greeting and made a lovely, smooth coffee. It's a bakery guys, you deal with people, if you do not like dealing with people then change business. But no, what a good selection still ! Very tasty Bacon & Cheese Pasties (with crispy pastry), and nice little Lemon Tart & a Caramel Tart. Ate them down at the jetty/marina in the sun....
