Tandoori Guru in Whyalla offers a delightful dining experience that truly stands out, especially given its charming countryside location. The moment you step inside, you're greeted by a beautifully decorated interior that a perfect balance between traditional Indian aesthetics and modern comfort. The exceptionally kind and attentive staff. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with genuine hospitality that made our visit even more enjoyable. The restaurant features a unique see-through window, offering diners a captivating view of three freshly made food. The Cleanliness is priority at Tandoori Guru. It is, without a doubt, one of the cleanest restaurants I have ever visited. For anyone visiting Whyalla, a trip to Tandoori Guru is a must. It promises a one of a kind experience that you will cherish. I highly recommend visiting on a Friday night to enjoy their...

We were travelling through Whyalla and felt like a bit of Indian food. Tandoori guru was getting good reviews and the sign outside proclaimed it to be "The curry capital of Australia" so we decided to give it a try. Well, it was some of the better Indian food I have tried in Australia. We had the Madras beef, butter chicken and vegetable korma accompanied by basmati rice and garlic naan. The rice was fluffy and the curries very flavourful and served quickly. The restaurant was quite busy for a Tuesday night but they still seemed to manage the in-house patrons as well as takeout orders well. The kitchen, viewed through a glass window was clean, bustling and the staff seemed happy. It is obvious they take pride in their food. Thanks for a...

I have an allergy to onion and garlic, and I sent this restaurant a Facebook Messenger message asking if they could prepare any of their vegetarian dishes without those ingredients. I got a quick reply: "Yes we can." I asked which dishes, and the reply came: "Please call 86455586." So I called. Which dishes can you do? "I'll check with the chef." Moments later: "Sorry, we don't have any dishes without onion or garlic." Can you prepare something with a day's notice? "No."

It hardly needs to be said that this is extremely poor service. I would give zero stars if I could. Not recommended for anyone with particular dietary requirements, or anyone who believes people should answer honestly when you ask...

This restaurant was suggested to me by a local guy whom I'm thankful for.. 👍 - Great location... - excellent staff - always smiling and welcoming - delicious food.. must try Goat Curry 👌 The pot in which the goat curry was served should be a bit bigger so that the food doesn't fall while serving to your dish.. - the plain wholemeal roti was good too.. - rates are not bad.. - 4-5 parking lots reserved just next to this restaurant... Otherwise free street parking is available.. - toilets are clean.. - The whole restaurant is kept pretty clean and presentable Highly recommend if you're around Whyalla..

Definitely best Indian restaurant not only in whyalla but all over south Australia. True Indian authentic food. Food is scrumptious, quality of ingredients is very fresh. Ambience is quite good with great hygiene all over. Daily go to for dine in or takeaway in whyalla. Been coming here regularly for work and eat here everyday. Staff is friendly and they litsen to your needs. Had this custom request and chef was a game to do it for me in very peak time. Go for it!! Your appetite will thank you later!!

My friend and I had a dinner here and we liked the environment in the restaurant. Comfortable space, friendly service. We ordered a butter chicken and prawn curry with basmati rice and garlic naan. They tasted yummy, prawn curry was full of flavour and spices, but not sure if the butter chicken is authentic or not. Lol While we were dining, there were lots of people came to get takeaway, the waiting times for them seem not too long. The serves look small but they were actually filling.
