The staff on the floor were lovely but I can’t believe with the very large outside area out the front we were forced to sit out the back in the car park because we had a dog. It was so depressing that we left after one drink when we had planned to stay for dinner and a fun Friday night. Considering the area is so dog friendly, I’m surprised we had this experience. See photos for the depression.

Have always enjoyed the food at the Cooee and loved going to the pub for many years and have always raved about the food and recommended it to our local friends. Tonight, we spent $100 on 3x take away dinners and they were extremely disappointing. The creamy garlic prawns with steamed rice - when we got home to eat, we didn’t even get any rice with the watery few garlic prawns, the amount was dismal. The parmigiana - chicken was burnt on the edges, about a teaspoon of sauce, an overcooked slice of packet ham and dry crusty cheese. Extremely dry. The overcooked vegetables tasted horrible and watery. Apparently there’s a new chef now and unfortunately now the food is terrible compared to what it was. We would’ve been happy to spend the $100 if the food was like it was before, so safe to say we won’t be eating there again. Very...

The staff and people were friendly and good service . Man the food was really bad . we got the nachos and a pulled pork hamburger pickles type thing . Maybe the other food is ok but this was really bad . The nachos were really badly presented and were not very appetising at . looked like they had been microwaved and no care was taken the guacamole was tasteless and was the mince as well as stale or overcooked .the hamburger pickles type thing was not nice I wanted to take the food back and get a refund but the mrs wouldn't let me . We picked at the food and were left pretty disappointed . The best thing about it was the few chips we got with the...

Had lunch at Cooee Hotel and it was a real treat! The moment we walked in, we were struck by how airy and bright the place is - it's got a really nice, casual vibe that makes you feel right at home. The service was top-notch too - our server was quick, friendly, and attentive.

The menu's got a great variety of options, so there's something for everyone. We were impressed by the quality of the dishes and the portion sizes were generous. Overall, we had a fantastic experience at Cooee Hotel and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxed, delicious meal out. We'll be...
