St Leonards Bakery — Restaurant in St Leonards

I love supporting local business but don't think I'll be back. Bought a sausage roll, pie, jam donut and a scroll. The sausage rolls in the front of pie warmer looked delicious but unfortunately the sausage roll I was given was inedible and didn't discover until I was home, 5 mins drive. On the first bite the meat and pastry was hard, second bite was no better, I had to throw it out, this should not have been sold. I highly recommend this bakery. I stopped in today working in the area and asked for a dirty chai latte, which she wasn’t able to make - due to not having chai powder. Yet, this lovely lady compensated by offering a vanilla latte instead, and it was absolutely wonderful. Immediately after I said hello, we had a rally conversation about passion for coffee, service was amazing, Chicken cheese salad mayo roll for $8!!!!! Very ordinary. Things are either over cooked or undercooked. Store is a bit tired looking and grotty. Obviously not run by trained bakers. Service is abrupt at best. In a small town like St leonards, this has the potential to be a destination bakery, but misses the mark by a...
