Brown Rice Peregian Springs — Restaurant in Sunshine Coast Regional

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Brown Rice that left me absolutely floored. From the moment I stepped through the door, I knew I was in for an extraordinary culinary experience.

The restaurant's ambiance was a perfect blend of modern chic and traditional Asian decor. Dimly lit, with beautiful wooden accents and soothing background music, it created an atmosphere that was both cozy and elegant. The staff's warm welcome and impeccable service added to the overall charm.

We kicked off our meal with a trio of appetizers that were nothing short of spectacular. The crispy spring rolls were filled with a delightful mixture of vegetables and shrimp, offering the perfect crunch. The spicy sauce was a mouthwatering twist on a classic favorite. The star of the starters was undoubtedly the dumplings, perfectly pan-fried to golden perfection and served with a dipping sauce that was pure umami bliss.

The main courses continued to impress. The Teryaki Chicken was a symphony of flavors and textures, with tender shrimp and the right balance of sweet and tangy sauce.

10/10 would eat there again Best Sushi...

Food is great however service is awful. The civic shop is MUCH better. Staff complained about their job, how they hate working on a Saturday etc. staff dressed inappropriately and packed up around us as we were eating despite the store not shutting for 30 minutes. Restaurant was not clean and tables were dirty. We ordered cucumber rolls and got cucumber and tuna rolls. We mentioned that's not what we ordered and they took it away and bought back the cucumber rolls and gave the tuna rolls to the table next to us. Not sure where these ‘best sushi in the world’ people have eaten but I’m guessing it’s their first sushi experience... good atmosphere for sure but the food not so much - unless you prefer cheese slathered fish things that don’t really resemble sushi...
