Update, we returned about 4 months later. We enjoyed a saturday night dinner of a mixed grill, shared between 2. We both enjoyed the mixed grill & could not finish the whole meal. Everything was cooked well. I ordered a cocktail, which certainly wasn't the best I've had, but staff certainly try to be accommodating. Then breakfast the following morning enjoying pancakes. Pancakes were perfect, enjoyed watching the lawn bowlers set up & practise. As per our previous visit, it was quiet both times we visited, even with a few patrons on the Saturday night.

It's an older club and quite small but we had lunch there today and the food was reasonably priced, generous and I had the best chicken parmy I can remember, real breast and not over cooked, the chips were great and the salad actually had a real balsamic vinaigrette. The club is small but has better on tap options than many clubs 10x the size, the staff are friendly and there's plenty of parking. The place is clean and so are the toilets.
