So close to giving 5 stars. I actually thought I had previously reviewed here. I visited not long after they reopened post their renovations. And I clearly remember it was NOT a good experience from service, food, etc, both of us considered we would never return. Having said that, I'm pleased to report they have redeemed themselves. They are dog friendly as long as you take a table outside. They already had a container for water for the puppy when we took our table. And after our goofball knocked it over, one of the waiters after bringing out food offered to replace it again, and really cheerfully too. We booked over the phone after confirming they are dog friendly. It was an easy & friendly process, you can book online too. We received an email with confirmation of our booking quickly afterwards. We ordered the meat madness pizza. It was good & filling. Full of meat & flavour. Our personal preference is not half cherry tomatoes on top as their flavour is quite strong and can be overpowering but still great & from an aesthetic view can see why they are done like that. And can I say, food arrived super quick too. Service from entry was cheerful & bright and seemed to continue during our time there. My only complaint was to do with drinks. Ordered a Canadian club and as she went to pour it, asked if they had bottles, ready to drink. She says no, I said that's OK, then as she went to pour it the other waiter said we have in cans, I said oh great, yes thanks. Then went to order a cocktail. Was told we can't do it. Waiter then explained why. That's all good I understood. He said you can pretty much order everything but a couple. So I said lemon meringue Martini. He said oh that's the only other one we can't do. It's not big deal but I kinda had my heart set on a cocktail and that kinda turned me off. I understand things happen. So that was kinda why I can't give 5 out of 5. So I will return, even though I'm not a local, and would recommend to others.

Decided to go for lunch at the Glassy Tavern today. First time here even though we are locals, and it definitely won't be our last. As soon as we entered the restaurant from the excellent undercover car park at the rear, we were already loving the atmosphere. The interior/exterior layout & design is a knockout, with a modern, rustic, casual vibe. We both ordered the smoky lamb shanks (on the main menu) & what can we say but WOW!! Outstanding isn't enough praise!! The quality, quantity & presentation along with the wait time was perfect. You wouldn't find better anywhere else, and we think the prices are well matched to the latter. Thanks to the cheerful staff & a big thank you to the hard-working chefs (who work in an industry where they are not always fully appreciated or recognised) - you guys are such an asset to your employer, to the tavern and to the community. I hope you are consistently recognised & praised for your fantastic skills & amazing talent. We are so lucky to live at Glass House Mountains & to have such a wonderful local tavern here. If you are thinking of coming to the Glasshouse Tavern, do not hesitate, you will be nicely rewarded just like we were. We will be back very soon!! Please note: TIP: As a part of writing this review, Google asks to choose a price category box (how much you spent - ours is depicted in this review as $80 - $100 category - actual cost was $89 for two of the higher end main meals + two full strength beers/schooners). Your end cost is always dependent upon personal budget related to food/drink choices & amount including menu type i.e. (high- or low-end priced) + number of people. Therefore, the $80 - $100 does not reflect the general cost for others - all menu's & prices are clearly available on the Taverns website.

SENSATIONAL SUNDAY BREAKFAST and A Five-Star Experience Every Time! I've visited the Glasshouse Tavern numerous times and the staff never cease to impress. They consistently ensure we are delighted with our orders and leave feeling thoroughly satisfied. Tonight, we were served by Piah, who was incredibly helpful and kind, ensuring our pizza arrived on time. A huge thank you to the amazing team at Glasshouse Tavern. We will be back! 🌟🍕👏 Edit - WE CAME BACK FOR SUNDAY BREAKFAST and were not disappointed. They are open on Sundays for breakfast and we had to take away half of it, as the servings were so big. I had the Vegan breakfast, our girl had the breaky burger and her fiancee had the big breakfast. The food is freshly cooked and the coffee is fabulous. Once again, Piah looked after us and the service was again 5-star. Plenty of parking, great food, and wonderful service all day long and they are happy to make you happy. Thank you Piah and staff - you're the best!
