If There was an option to rate this establishment half a star I would. After spending over $100 (only on fish, chips & calamari) the range on offer was very limited - hearing several times as we attempted to order various additional items “we don’t have any of that” or “we’re not cooking that tonight”. The chips were cold, soft, not salted with chicken salt as requested and the percentage of the scrappy little end pieces was predominant. The calamari batter was verging on sweet, again not crunchy and not even warm. The fish we ordered was a combination of crumbed and battered, but both stuck to the paper it was (poorly) wrapped in - again, not hot at all. How does freshly cooked fish stick to the paper I ask?? We sat reading the reviews of this shop as we waited for our order to be prepared - a HUGE rookie error. A life lesson has been learnt - read a few reviews before ordering if the alarm bells sound. when I walked in the place was dirty the disgusting smell that welcomed me was overwhelmed by the off cooking oil but my kids insisted that we try it as they heard great reviews The teenagers behind the counter had no expression on their faces like deer in the headlights it took 5 minutes for them to understand what we had ordered as native english speakers

Unfortunately the food tasted as bad as the smell all items it was too greasy to eat insisted we ate the food outside but on my way out the smell was too much for my nose and I accidentally dropped the gravy on the floor and no one came to assist me Or offer a cloth just stunned mullets in the fish shop in conclusion taste as bad as it smells all round...

If it were possible to rate this establishment with no stars I would! Last night we purchased 7 pieces of fish ( cod, barramundi and snapper), 2 large and 1 small serves the chips plus 2 serves of rubbery or mushy calamari. We were charged $109.30 for a mostly inedible meal! Both the fish and the calamari were greasy beyond belief. Although there was plenty of “chips”, there was nothing over 3” long, with the majority of them being scrappy pieces less than an inch long. There was no crispness at all, in fact they were so limp and soggy that we wondered if they had been reheated in a microwave!
