Came here as I always go to the birtinya Cafe as the staff there are so lovely and the coffee is always good, but this one seems like an entirely different store owned by a different person...but it's not? Staff are slow and rude, took 20minutes for a pre-made wrap to come out, the coffee was terrible which was surprising considering they use the same beans at the birtinya one. Also, whoever pre-makes the wraps, sandwiches and bowls needs to be fired. They are all so disgusting at both stores, sloppy, soggy messes that taste like they weren't even made that day, literally gagged at first bite. Will never step foot into this mountain creek cafe again, horrible experience UPDATE; YOU make the pre-made food!? They're 1000000% not made fresh daily, salad doesn't get that soggy, neither does the bread when it's made daily, literally impossible. Also, the mountain creek store was far less busy than any time I've been into the birtinya store, seems as though you're simply bitter that a customer doesn't like your food, nor your service considering you, the owner, was in today and it was abhorrent at best. Maybe instead of speaking condescendly, just get better...

Really disappointed with the over all progress of my local coffee shop. It used to be reasonably priced but now itās just ridiculous and greedy.
$12 for a ham n cheese toasties.. and as of recently they have made the large bag of coffee beans $55 dollars only on a Sunday due to having to pay his staff more on a Sunday? It used to be $44 which doesnāt make any sense.
My mothers can only make it there on a Sunday because she works too jobs to and the owner wasnāt happy to sympathise with her considering thatās the only day sheās free and has to cop the extra charges.
Itās such a shame what greed does. It used to be such a lovely and welcoming...

Re: Well, it's still ridiculously expensive. If the store had a brain and its own kitchen, it would buy the croissants and fill them, cutting out the work of whoever their supplier is and the markup that the supplier put on the ingredients. That would result in about $7-$9 depending on the location and how many they can make in a batch. Any bakery that makes their own croissants & danishes might be able to offer it cheaper, just based on the pure elimination of marking up someone else's...
