Disappointing. Have been coming here on holidays 13 years. Sat at front gate area near jumping castle as a group of 7 and a Puppy Golden Retriever. Quiet Monday Night. We were advised sorry we dont allow dogs. I said we have had him here twice previously and dont see any signs. Was advised sorry but someone took the sign. So we took our placid golden retriever and put him in the boat. Then lined up for dinner ten mins later and received a tap on the shoulder, "sorry you cant be in here, you and the kids need to leave" i said why?... she said is the dog still here, i said no, we took him out straight away as you asked. "Oh ok.... then she walked away" Very rude and tactless behaviour. Some customer service training and renewed signage may be required or run the risk of losing more clients. The food and kitcehn staff are very good and it is well priced. The drink prices are ridiculous. $7.50 for a beer! We are in a coastal town, not Sydney! Rsl club or...

The staff we converse with at the bar and bistro are less then friendly and welcoming. Ordered a surf and turf which was expensive at 46 dollars and was really poor value and quality. I can never get my head around the other reviews saying the foods good when it's not for so many reasons. It's really misleading. I expect so much more from claimed professional chefs and cooks. The T-bone is tiny. The white sauce ridiculously watery. Packet mash?? This is a medium size plate. It's was worth about 30 bucks tops. With this said I have no desire to return here. Rough! Expensive!...
Read moreFood was very reasonably priced but hit and miss. I had a schnitzel burger which was great and hubby had a nice Caesar wrap but a friend had nachos which were burnt and weirdly came with a sweet chilli sauce. Bistro service could have been cheerier especially the cook who loudly said in front of me that the previous patron could have her steak however he cooked it. Despite her asking for rare. Dog friendly outside but the under cover area was reserved for smokers so we had to sit outside in the elements. Not since 1984 did smokers get better treatment except at this place. Was pretty sketchy to look at but the food was ok. Probably...
