ordered 5 Manoush yesterday, all the meat one wasn't cooked properly, it's obvious u can tell the meat wasn't cooked. even the cheese on top was lightly grilled so how do u expect the meat to be cooked? The base still dough sadly this is a simple ordee can't get it right. even the chicken peri peri still not cooked. disappointed 3 pizzas wasn't up my expectations. I live close by but really was tired to go back and give it back to them. update: I saw your response, and unfortunately I can't agree with you as the tast of the meat was obviously not cooked. this is not the first time for me eating manoush. the base was still dough too so it still need another 5 min cooked as I put it myself in the oven and it turn then the way it should be. we hope u can improve this rather than giving excuses. I saw while I was there how u serve the mix plate u put the salads on top of the rice and I myself didn't like it but when I got home and saw all these feed back and still u didn't do anything. I can tell that u don't care. even the young lady at the service desk I did experience the same as other people mentioned, she didn't welcome any one entr the place, she stand spacing not even looking at me. I had to say to her helloo can I make order?? was it hard to train her how to welcome people with smile. we understand she is young but this is the basic service that u lacking and it's your responsibility to read reviews and work to improve where u lacking not arguing. and this is very sad as u can see the lebanese and Syria how they warmly welcome anyone and try to attract them. we want to see u getting better as Iraq take a way resturant...
Read moreMy family and I will NEVER buy from this place ever again. Every few weeks we buy $200-$300 worth of kafta skewers from them. The deal we buy includes salad with the kafta skewers, at no extra cost. On a couple of occasions, when my mum picked up our order, they happily separated the salad from the skewers because (and as common sense would have it), they miraculously realised that the skewers should be served hot whilst the salad should be served cold, and mixing the two together results in warm salad and lukewarm skewers and basically - a big mess. Tonight, I went to pick up our order and asked them to separate the salad from the skewers, I practically BEGGED them, offered to pay them extra even, and THEY STILL WOULDNâT DO IT - bearing in mind, theyâve done it without a problem for my mum before. I then reluctantly gave in and had to buy the salads as EXTRAS (even though the skewers were the same price with or without salad!). These people COULD NOT CARE LESSSSSS about serving their community. They care only about the money in their pockets and convenience for themselves. Every single other shop Iâve ever bought kafta skewers from, during my lifetime, bends over backwards to make their customers happy - not these people though; and for that, my immediate family of 15+ adults, will never, EVER, buy from them again. On top of that, I asked for my order to be ready at a certain time, they said it wouldnât be an issue, then I had to wait an additional 30 minutes - hopeless, and no communication...
Read moreCame in for lunch and ordered the 10 skewer mixed plate. Was thinking that this was going to be another place which wasnt going to live up to the hype, however was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the meats. The chicken, lamb and kafta were all great and very tender and well seasoned with a very nice charcoal taste. The pickled cabbage and radish were very nice. I actually really loved the tanginess of the pickled cabbage as it was quite refreshing. The bread was really nice and soft and perfectly seasoned also. I didnât like how telephone orders were being taken at the counter whilst there were customers (i.e. me waitingâŚ. however, Iâll let that slide this time)⌠If you know your shop gets busy maybe get someone else to take the phone orders not the person manning the counter. Apart from this little hiccup, customer service was nice and helpful. Located right opposite the zebra crossing nearish Woolworths. If you canât find carpark you can park on the side streets or at the pub which is a very short walk away. Fyi, average wait time is around 15-20 minutes. There are 3 tables inside and one outdoors so donât expect to eat there unless you timed it...
