Bella Cibo Jannali — Restaurant in Sydney

With a broken down car and an empty stomach we wandered through Janalli looking for food. Glancing down a side street we spied the one place we have never tried. At first we were impressed with the menu which had many options including vegan, but also variations of pizza that you don't find at every other pizza parlour. We stumbled through our order with a lovely yet patient lady, who i would assume is the owner with her husband there, then awaited our tasty treats. As we waited the chef oversaw a new trainee, meticulous with detail he also explained why it needed to be a certain way, showing pride and passion in his work. To be honest i don't think we had much in the way of expectations, another pizza place, can't hurt to try, but just another pizza right? We were blown away when we tasted it though. We ordered a bbq chicken and a bruschetta and both were amazing. The base was nice and crispy, not too thick, not too much sauce, no single flavour was too overpowering and i would have to say its the most enjoyable pizza we've had in along time, possibly ever. While we have only had 2 pizza's from here, i cannot stress enough how highly i would recommend people give this place a try. It certainly surprised us and has become 'our' new pizza place. Usually order a lot from here from menu log.... got a call from someone from Bella Cibo saying that they want us to order from the Bella Cibo website because then we won't get charged a delivery fee.... so next order I order and pay through their website. I get a weird phone call from them 1 hour after I ordered asking if I received an email? I say no.... they say oh ok, well we have had your pizza in the pizza warmer for 40min so we will make you a new one and get it straight out to you.... Weird but I say ok.... then another hour later (so now 2 hours after I originally ordered) I get another phone call saying I have to come and pick it up because it's under the minimum order. I say don't bother I'll just have a refund, by this time I can't even be bothered to eat. Then the guy on the phone hangs up on me. Your food is good but your service is so unprofessional. The best Gluten Free pizza in Sydney!! I have tried so many gluten free pizzas and usually the base is undercooked, not crispy etc. When we moved to Jannali last year I honestly couldn't believe it when I finally had a gluten free pizza I thoroughly enjoyed! We have ordered so many times from Bella Cibo and it never disappoints.
