Boulevard Eatery — Restaurant in Sydney

I would rate the service zero stars if I could. I had a disappointing experience at the Boulevard Eatery during lunchtime on Sunday.

The cashier tried to charge me for items I didn’t order. I only ordered two burgers and one medium chips, but I was charged extra for chicken nuggets and onion rings — which were clearly not on my tray. When I questioned the charge and asked for a receipt, I was told the machine was broken.

I then pointed out the incorrect total, and the cashier called someone else to help process a refund. Unfortunately, neither of them showed any sign of apology or concern. If I hadn’t noticed the issue myself — and without a receipt — I likely wouldn’t have received a...

I love the airconditioned room. The food was fine and priced like a burger truck, I think it may even be better than some burger trucks I've had too. The meerkat enclosure is a nice feature, the glass goes right up against the tables. There are misting fans in the un-airconditioned seating areas. Service is super super quick. The chips are quite nice, maybe even beer battered? Plenty of seats and we didn't have trouble getting a table during lunch on boxing day. Two small (bottled water) drinks set us back over $11. Expect a premium, on lack of options - but even at that, the cost was a bit unrealistic!
