Reviving Nature's Embrace: Bungarribee Park

For us, Bungarribee Park has become a cherished place to gather with family and friends over the years. Every time we go, the park feels like it's welcoming us back, with its expansive open spaces and serene beauty. Whether it's our regular walks along the Heart Crossing Loop or watching the kids and pets enjoy the Warrigal Dog Run, there's always something for everyone.

What keeps us coming back is not just the recreational fun but the sense of calm that comes with being surrounded by nature. Bungarribee's ongoing restoration of wetlands and native plants has created a special environment that feels untouched and peaceful, making each visit feel like a breath of fresh air.

Whenever we meet up, we enjoy grabbing a bite at Harvey's Social or indulging in treats from the Sydney Zoo Waffle Wagon—it adds that extra bit of excitement to our day. The ample parking is always appreciated, and the shaded spots are a must for those sunny Sydney afternoons, though we wouldn’t mind seeing a few more shelters dotted around.

For us, Bungarribee Park isn’t just a park—it’s become a place where we reconnect, unwind, and create new memories with our loved ones. Whether it’s a weekend picnic, a family gathering, or just a simple afternoon escape, this park never...

Bangarribee Park is a place where families can enjoy their day along with their kids. It is a very open space, and will definitely get you relaxed by the end of the day. It has many spacious shelters with picnic tables for your family to eat a homemade meal there. As for the entertainment, there are many large play areas for kids to play in, including sand pits, swings, zip lines, several slides, riding tracks to enjoy. For little kids, there is a specially designed kids playground where your little ones can also have fun. There are also some grassy lawn-like spaces where you can play all kinds of games, including cricket, football, frisbee, badminton, tennis and many more. If you want to barbecue, there are big, good-quality barbecue stations to do so. Even though this park is a really tranquil area, watch out for the magpies in certain riding tracks, because they might chase you for a long time. The toilets are located at the entrance, and are quite hygienic. The car parks are also located at the entrance and have enough spaces to park your car. There are many bubblers to refill your drink or grab a drink instead. The nature located over there gives you a calm feeling and can shelter you as well. This park is one of the best places to rewind over the weekend after a hectic and...

My child and I had a wonderful time at Sydney Zoo, and it turned out to be an enriching experience for both of us. The zoo offers a diverse range of animals, and we were both fascinated by the various exhibits. One of the highlights of our visit was seeing the elephants, which my child absolutely adores. The opportunity to observe these magnificent creatures up close was a thrilling experience for them.

The zoo's layout and informative displays made it easy for us to explore and learn about different animal species. The facilities were well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable, which added to the overall enjoyable experience. The variety of animals and engaging environments provided plenty of opportunities for both education and entertainment.

Seeing the joy on my child's face as they watched their favorite animals was priceless, and it made our visit even more special. We left the zoo with great memories and a desire to return. Sydney Zoo has certainly earned a special place in our hearts, and we look forward to visiting again soon to experience more of what it...

Fantastic playground with lots of options for all ages. The climbing tower is great for older kids and adults. The four different slides are fast so be aware. There are water pumps so be prepared by taking a change of clothes for littles. There is a good selection of swings too, including a set for older kids. Additionally there are two options to do timed runs and there is plenty of space to scoot and ride a bike. The slides can get a little hot and ready fake grass by the flying fox gets way too hot. Plenty of parking and lots of water bubblers with lovely cold water. The toilets are close to the car park and are nice and clean. Additionally, there are lots of picnic options with shade scattered across the park and some BBQs. It's clear that it's a new playground and there could be better shade over the water play and the swings, but this might also come with time with the bushes and trees getting more established.
