Burek (whole) - $20, Pjeskavica with the lot - $12 Burek ask them to cut it up though 'The recipe for "round" burek was developed in the Serbian town of Niš', it appears to be a traditional pastry with stuffing inside, mine had feta cheese. When the local Serbian population comes inside you know you got the real deal. 'St George Serbian Orthodox Church' - down the road. 2 families, speaking fluent Serbian came in, one ordered and the other asked some questions but didn't lodge their order for some reason. The waitress, speaks fluent Serbian and giggling with customers. The Chef, a hulking mass looks like 'Zvonimir Vujin'. Order for both items was completed in 10 - 15 minutes, satisfied with the amount of feta cheese inside, if you prefer meat, it is available. By comparision the layer of meat will not be as much as pizza or a kebab, if you were looking for a snackpack then you have turned up to the wrong place.

This Burek was awesome, they young lady packed them for me and when she handed them to me I almost dropped the box they were that heavy and loaded! They tasted beautiful and very traditional I’ll be back for sure. Another one of those little hidden gems in Sydney’s outer suburbs

Don’t order delivery from here. I have ordered 3 tines and every time the burek delivered was stale and the chevapi over-cooked. Eat in is a little better but the burek is still mostly pastry and very little filling. Burek is not cheap at $24, so I...
