I like supporting local businesses and have been a regular customer of Creative Gourmet Pizza Cafe since 2007 spending thousands with them over the last 13 years as a South Turramurra local. One day we had a salesperson from this restaurant selling coupon booklets door to door for $50 which we purchased as we planned to continue to support their business despite many other pizza restaurants opening in the area over the years. Unfortunately, however the owner doesn’t honour/accept the coupons when you come in to pay or sometimes will pretend to accept and process them and will proceed to charge you at the full price rate anyway without your knowledge. Upon questioning him about this when I realised I was charged the incorrect price for our order he claimed that they were no longer accepting coupons due to COVID. 1/ if that's the case then why wasn’t communicated to me over the phone when I placed my order? 2/ if anything takeaway businesses sales and demand have increased since COVID and 3/ the coupons are valid until April 2021 (clearly printed on the booklet). Finally, I asked him that since they’re no longer accepting their coupons if they could at least offer a refund for the booklet we purchased and this was also refused. This demonstration of misleading and deceptive conduct means that they have lost our trust and we won't be returning here and will find a more deserving business to support in the future. Hopefully the $50 they scammed and the cost saving by not honouring their “buy one get one free” coupon was worth it for them. Kind regards, A local Karen

Great find, can't believe never tried it earlier. Food tastes just like my mothers', owners make you feel like you're at home. Not a pizza fan normally but this one was worth the crime. OMGosh prawns and satay sauce pizza, delight! The burgers actually look better in real life than the photos. The falafel burger gives the vege kebab a run for its' money. No more long drives for exquisite ice cream! Oops forgot to mention the smooth tasting coffee !!

Wish we lived near these guys! We got "the lot" pizza and it was mountainous! Very satisfying and the base was superb! Lovely owners, warm vibes, lasting memory. Thank you, we'll be back!

We had ordered food with great anticipation as we were looking for vegetarian lasagne and pizza and finally found it in its menu. After a loooong wait, the food finally arrived smelling very interesting sort of like sewage. The presentation of the food was disappointing and unappetising as it was drowned in tomato sauce with a lump inside. Similarly the pizza was also unrecognizable and soggy with the amount of black bean sauce poured on top. However we kept hope that it would taste better as we had been waiting for a while now. When we tasted the pizza it was very bad and the sauce wasn't complementing the toppings giving an overall unpleasant taste. The cannelloni smelt the same but the taste was decent and it was the only dish we could swallow. Lastly the VEGETARIAN lasagne which was the most important dish wasn't actually vegetarian. We are a strictly non-meat household and are unable to consume meat especially beef. So it was very shocking when we opened the lasagne to find a beef sauce inside when we specifically asked for VEGETARIAN. When we attempted to talk to the staff they incredibly rude and dismissive of our concerns and we were highly disappointed. First with the food and then their attitude which ruined our family evening together. The price and quality of the food were on different sides of the spectrum as the food was expensive but it looked, tasted and the service was garbage. Overall very disappointing and will never order here again and would advise the same to any with dietary requirements or functioning taste buds. We would give a -1 but that isn't an option so we must give some but, ya know...

Went to get a medium chips and gravy (there are 4 sizes an medium is the 2nd smallest). Looked at the menu, no prices listed, it just says "check our website for prices" so I go up to order and the lady behind the counter tells me that it's $12.90 for the medium chips.

I ask her "just for a medium chips?" and she says "yeah, with gravy!" like it makes a massive difference.

I'm not sure why, but I still paid for this insanely expensive stack of potato because I have a hungry wife at home that I want to bring a hot treat home to.

I go to their website to try find the prices of these chips, only to see that the website is empty, no prices listed there, online ordering is broken and all.

I wait 10 mins before the really nice man behind the counter hands me this huge box of chips and gravy to take home. Now I'm not sure if he realised she's just overcharged me and wants to make it up to me by giving me a huge box of chips, but it's nothing like the sizes that are sitting on the counter top.

In any case, this is my local. I live around the corner and have been there 2-3 times in the past. I'm not sure about anyone else, but I always thought the local chippie was a place that offers classic affordable food for the community, not $12.90 for the 2nd smallest portion of chips available.

Really sad to see and unfortunately, I definitely won't be...
