The attitude and rudeness when they get something wrong is ridiculous! Still left with the wrong item as I was just to overwhelmed with it all.

Being a small business doesn’t give you a right to treat your customers poorly so you can stop trying to pull that card, and me and my family have been coming here for over 3 years supporting your “small business” being served poached eggs on soggy toast because you didn’t drain the water from the egg properly or your stale cakes you think you can serve after god knows how long in the fridge or the burning hot milk in the coffee but we never say anything and we are always polite but as soon as I ask for what I want instantly your triggered and to be honest I could go over the conversation from the start and how I was very clear in what I asked for and how your whole team was triggered by me sending a drink back and asking politely for what I asked for and paid for, but I doubt it would get through to you! And yes I left with a drink in the end I didn’t even want because I was overwhelmed when 3 staff members are yapping at me over a cup of milk. Including your barista muttering under his breath at me which I did say politely to him if it’s to much to make it’s ok don’t worry about it, and his response it’s fine just move back from the counter! Lucky for my partner and me the only thing we did like from you was your coffee that we came for nearly everyday but there are plenty of coffee shops that are around the area without...

We are SO excited to have such a funky cafe opening near our house!! The decor is fantastic and the staff are very friendly. We went a couple of times in their first week which was ok although it had a few kinks to begin with - slow for the coffees to arrive etc. but that is to be expected while they find their feet. The two main things I would suggest to the owners is 1. for them to expand their menu. Although it is nice to have fancy or hipster food it is also essential to have some cheaper classics. 2. The cost of most of the items... from memory an Acai bowl is over $15 (plus $2 for extras like yoghurt), an orange juice is almost $9, big breakfast was around $20 (but wasn't really that big or special) this is more expensive then most other places. They might want to reduce some of these costs. Or keep the expensive prices for the more 'fancy' items but have some classic options that are a little cheaper. I think this Cafe is good but they have a few little adjustments to make to be a great cafe. I look forward to...

Whilst I really wanted this to be a great review, sadly it's not.

My 6yo daughter & I stopped by for lunch today expecting great things. The service was fantastic but the food not so much. The Cook's Chicken Salad was presented beautifully but sadly bland, just no flavour at all. Not even a good dose of cracked pepper helped it. The kids Cheeseburger tasted dreadful, like really cheap & nasty off tasting sausage mince. That's the only description for it. And no salad on the burger, not even tomato & lettuce. Not all kids dislike salad, well mine don't anyway, and at $12 for a bun, cheap meat & cheese basically it's just a rip off.

At 12 bucks for a kids burger & almost 20 bucks for a salad we expected much, much more. I do have to agree with the other reviews, that the prices are way too high for the quality...

After reading all the good reviews I thought I’d give Cup and Cook a go. Unfortunately, my experience wasn’t as good as others The food is nice, however not as good as people rave on about. The sticky rice bowl was nice, but I wouldn’t say it’s worth 17$. You really need the curd to give the bowl some flavour and the serving size is quite small. Annoyingly, I ordered a long black and I was given an espresso. If I didn’t wait over 20mins for the coffee I would of returned it, but I didn’t want to wait any longer. The cafe is quite busy, so there is a wait on food, which is fine, however , I think over 20mins for drinks is a little long. That’s my personal opinion. Overall, it wasn’t a terrible experience, just an average one. Won’t be back.

Solid beef burger had such a tender & juicy patty, excellent bun but was slightly let down by underdone fries (4.5/5). The crab linguine was a good portion size but the tomato base was overpowering and the crab pieces were much too small - reminiscent of cream cheese (3/5). I really liked the froth on the Freddo expresso, served with milk (5/5). Unfortunately, this cafe gets too loud and noisy when it’s packed full. It feels a bit claustrophobic inside with tables packed too closely together. The staff seemed a bit too laid back and one stressed waitress forgot part of our order. While I’ve dined here before, I didn’t enjoy the vibe this time and probably won’t be back.

One of the best cafe I've ever been! Friendly staffs, great atmosphere and absolutely beautiful plating. We've tried the crab flapjack & king trout salad. The soft shell crab was crispy & yummy it was wow on the first bite but can be a bit too oily to finish the whole plate. King trout salad is flavoursome, I don't usually enjoyed eggplant but I loved the diced eggplant in this dish. The two drinks that we've ordered was iced coffee & berry berry nice smoothie (what a cute name!). Both of them were pretty nice and not too sweet. The cafe can be a bit noisy during weekend lunch hours as it really is kids friendly, but that doesn't affect me enjoying the food there.
