David's Cakes — Restaurant in Sydney

I purchased three pies and apple and custard bread roll and only knew I was given the two wrong pies when I went home and started eating them. Pies were very low quality, lack of meat in it and when I'm saying lack, that's being polite, there was literally one piece of chicken in my chicken pie. All my pies were just pastry hardly any fillings. Was $4.50 each I thought it would be premium pies but turns out it was the worst pies I've had so far, better off buying frozen pies from Coles!! Very disappointed with quality and service here. The prices are premium with such low quality food. Beware also there isn't any prices marked on their items. Staff seemed annoyed when I asked for prices of things, they did not greet when I walk in and did not offer a bag for all the things I purchased instead they just left it on the counter and walked away as soon as I paid, so there wasn't any thank you or anything or gather my items together for me I had to reach out in two separate spots for them. I like their fruit tarts, used to buy them regularly. The pies and sausage roll fillings are not very good quality. I live locally and whilst it is convenient to have a local bakery, I would not recommend anyone to go out of their way to try the food.

Has the business been sold? Seems like the quality has gone downwards, the cakes taste like premix cakes. During the last visit there was a middle aged lady with short blonde pixie haircut serving. She was rude (not sure if she had anything against ethnic minorities as other people I know have commented she is very snobbish towards them as well). RUDE Rude staff, I was left standing ignored by the older staff member. She looked at me and continued to stack a shelf which i waited patiently for her to finish. When she finished i tried talking to her and was ignored apparently because i was on the phone which i had put down. There was no other customers she continued to ignore me. When I questioned her why she can not see me, she raised her voice and yelled at me and kept yelling and yelling! I think she needs some time off work for stress or needs customer service skills.
