I am really disappointed in our delivery that was over 1 hour and 20 minutes late. Your app stated the pizza was ready at 5.55 pm, but it arrived at 6.40 pm, COLD AND DRY!! I am not happy.
I tried to call the store for 40 minutes prior to delivery with no answer. When the delivery guy finally came, he told me to call the store, but I explained that wasn't an option as no one was answering the phone for 40 mins.I was about to drive down to the store myself and complain. Interestingly, the driver made it back in time for the Manly Vale, NSW store to let the person know to answer the phone, and someone by the name of D (won't post full name) answered. However, instead of saying 'I'm sorry, perhaps we are understaffed,' I was met with comments claiming that he's never experienced anyone in 10 years receive a cold pizza, which I call absolute nonsense! Clearly, the reviews online for this store state otherwise.
Simple etiquette doesn't go amiss. Don't have an app that shows a pizza is ready for collection for 45 minutes and then deliver a customer a awful bad cold pizza. I am disappointed in the service, but more disappointed in the fact that I had such an unprofessional experience with the store member. He said he has never in his 10 years heard of such a complaint of people receiving cold pizzas. Hilarious! Read moreNever had such a bad experience with customer service from anywhere before. We ordered two pizza meals online for delivery. The wait was expected to be around 1 hour, which is reasonable for a Saturday night. However, after the hour was up, the online site said our pizzas hadn’t even been made yet. We ended up calling the store to check what was going on, which is when they decided to tell us they don’t have any delivery drivers available and haven’t even made our order. Why didn’t they contact us to let us know this? Were they just not going to make our pizzas? No missed calls, no texts, no communication. We asked what was going to happen now and if we could pick up the pizzas instead, which they said yes. Another 15-20 minutes for our pizzas to be made. We asked if we could get the delivery fee taken off, as we didn’t end up getting delivery in the end. They said they’d have to refund the order put it through again… but charged us the same amount? We were offered two drinks as ‘compensation’, but we basically ended up paying for them anyway since we paid for the delivery we never ended up getting? Don’t order from here. An hour later I called the store to find out where my Order was and I was told that my Order wasn't on file and to check with the Manly store as I must have place the Order with that store. After explaining to the man who answered the call that I was positive I ordered through the Manly Vale store as I had a record in my Call Log of the phone call he seemed confused and again told me "We don't deliver to your area" I asked to speak to the Manager and he then asked for my phone number which I gave to him and he was able to locate my Order. He tells me that my Order is on its way and would be delivered within 10-12 minutes. Half an hour later my Order arrived and the pizza was almost cold and the taste / freshness was terrible.
