Flame Coal Chicken — Restaurant in Sydney

I have very fond memories of the local chicken shop I went to as a child. When they closed down I couldn't find a burger anywhere that was remotely the same. Considering this a loss, I recently stumbled upon Flame Coal and ordered a hamburger. When it arrived and I took a bite, I was immediately transported back to being a kid! It could well have been the very same burger I had eaten all my life. I'm over the moon to have found this joint! Fresh ingredients, friendly staff, and a meal that makes me feel like a kid again - 5 stars!!! Clean store and friendly service. Freshly cooked and clean food. Deep fry oil seems like it is always fresh and clean. My only criticism is the Portuguese sauce on the burger seems like it has changed since the original owners 10 yrs ago. This sauce seems a bit too lemony. My wife purchased a half stuffed chicken. Service was ‘average friendly’ customer service seemingly not quite partial and or friendly to ‘outsiders’ and ‘non regulars’.
