Kings Head Tavern — Restaurant in Sydney

I came in 3 weeks ago thinking the food would be ok The 300g Rump Steak that I came in for was very chewy and was all charred on inside out.

My next Complaint is that the Vegetables were as crunchy and hard as anything I actually broke my tooth in a carrot it was that car it was like equivalent to eating rocks the vegetables were also a big rip off.

My other complaint is that the Toilets and the Bathroom were so dirty that I couldn’t take the smell anymore I came in for Lunch on Saturday 3 weeks ago today.

My next Complaint is the staff are very rude and cold hearted people they had attitude and were huffing and puffing when they served me actually 1 staff member threw some change when I paid $20 she threw the $4.50 change at me I need to let you know that the behaviour from the staff wasn’t acceptable.

My last Complaint is the food tasted 1 Star and a 1/10 the Security Guard was so aggressive to young kids and to me the Security Guard wanted to tackle me to the ground so I don’t recommend this security guard to the community the Security Guard was drunk and yelling at...

Absolutely disgusting “security” who spend the whole night playing on their phone. Had an extremely drunk man bullying (both physically and verbally) everyone in the venue which escalated to him threatening to smash peoples faces into the tables and when security was informed (his head was buried so far in his phone that he didn’t even notice all the commotion), the security laughed and guided the man to the bar so he could buy another drink. When confronted the security stated “I can’t kick him out, his the bosses nephew” which was disgusting in itself. The manager later disagreed and stated he had no relation to anyone in the venue. Never the less I was forced to leave the venue with a large group of friends who were out for a birthday because this man was threatening and ruining everyone’s night, and security just laughed it off and went back to playing on his phone. The place is dirty and no one seems to care about general maintenance. I wish I could give minus stars. I think attending this place twice is more than enough and I will not...

Under new management, Redcape Group. New lights in the carport so you can actually see as well as in the beer garden.

Great vibes from new staff and very welcoming.

Quite a few craft beers on tap now which is great for the younger crowds who dont want to have the staple beers (VB, Carlton Draught etc)

Pool table is gone but have been informed they will be getting a super high tech one post renovations. (Super high tech meaning being able to pay pass instead of asking for $1 coins)

Despite not having a bistro, the team have said its more than okay to enjoy some takeaway foods in their venue while you have a drink.
