I've recently visited the Galston Grill and tried 2 different menu items being the lamb souvlaki and the Portuguese chicken burger. I wouldn't recommend the lamb souvlaki at all as it was a tiny skewer which costed $7 and the meat wasn't very tasty, it was under seasoned and very tough. The chicken burger was not bad (big props to the shop for using fresh chicken thighs and not frozen pre-breaded patties like most other shops would), however the portion size of the chicken is crazy small. I paid $13.50(burger) + $1.50(egg) and as you can see from my photos I only got to chicken after I have ate half my burger. The flavour isn't too special but i think its worth trying the burger just because they use fresh chicken thighs. Staff were friendly and the inside of the restaurant was nice and clean however I wouldn't exactly recommend this place because of how small the portion sizes are and how the food doesn't taste too special for the price.

Decent burgers and excellent chips. Would come here again if I was in the area. We spent about $35 for two burgers and the small chips. Pictured is the beef burger.

Extremely rude. I asked for a hamburger combo then requested the drink be water. I was then told it's a extra $2.50 as a upsize drink.(since when is water a upsize) So I looked back at the fridge and saw the cans are $3.20 and bottled water $3.50. I questioned why $2.50 when its only a 30c difference in the fridge. I was then told in a extremly rude manner if you have a problem with it speak to the manager. The manager lady with a pony tail came and spoke in a rude tone telling me that it's some deal they have with coca cola. In my opinion it's still a extra 30c for water in the fridge but anyway.

I then had my food thrown at me whilst sitting on the table by the rude women who served me at the counter followed by a head shake as she walked back. I then decided I won't be eating in after that and ate in my car instead

Safe to say I won't ever...

This place has gone down hill. Use to be such a good option for a weekend lunch. I gave it quite a few chances since the place reopened, everytime disappointing, from cold chips, rubbish burgers, out of stock items. How does a chicken shop run out of Gravy 🤦. It was time to give it the 1 star it deserves. Quite expensive for poor quality food imo....
