Golden Phoenix Berowra — Restaurant in Sydney

Stopped at the restaurant yesterday mid evening for a dinner. Small but decent space. We were only two customers. Warm welcome and service received from the senior with a smile. Food (laksa, chicken fried rice, Singapore noodles) was tasty too. Later saw that there were 2 other seniors handling the kitchen at the back. Not sure whether if it was because of near closing time or anything else, but was nice to see it. Again, was very happy with the customer service and food. To top it off, was given 2 fortune...

Not the best Chinese food ever eaten, nor the worst. Chicken almond and vegetables was about 75% chicken. However, it was cooked OK. Spring Rolls were greasy. I was told 30 minutes wait. I went for a walk. About 25 minutes later I walked back to find it ready, but warm rather than hot. VERY ANNOYINGLY, they asked for my phone number but did not call to say it is ready.
