I tried the Epic Paneer Makhani Burger and the Crunchy Southern Chik’n Burger, along with a side of fries.
Hale Burgers is modern and welcoming, with a casual vibe that’s great for a quick meal or a relaxed hangout. However, there was a notable issue with the air conditioning during my visit—it was leaking. Unfortunately, this wasn’t mentioned upfront, and we only realized after being seated near the affected area. When we inquired, the staff explained that they were waiting for technicians to fix the issue, but I felt they should have informed diners beforehand to avoid the inconvenience.
• Epic Paneer Makhani Burger: As a lover of bold Indian flavors, I was excited to try this unique offering. While the idea was intriguing, the execution didn’t quite hit the mark. The patty seemed pre-frozen and lacked the freshness expected from such a vibrant dish. The flavors were decent but not remarkable, leaving the overall experience feeling lackluster. • Crunchy Southern Chik’n Burger: The Chik’n burger had a similar issue. While the concept was appealing, the patty felt overly processed, and the fried exterior overpowered any subtle flavors it might have had. It was average at best. • Fries: The fries were the highlight of the meal. They were crispy, well-seasoned, and cooked to perfection—a redeeming element of the visit.
The pricing was reasonable, especially for a vegan outlet. However, considering the quality of the food, it felt slightly underwhelming.
Fully vegan menu and inviting setting, but the food and minor issues was a let down. While the fries stood out, the burgers were underwhelming, primarily due to the frozen patties. The ambiance would have been better if the air conditioning issue had been communicated upfront.
As of now, I’m not sure if I’d return, but it could be worth a try for anyone seeking casual vegan options...
Read moreI recently visited Hale Burgers that's been open recently. Its great that they are vegan/vegetarian and I love to support these types of businesses. The menu is impressively large, offering a wide variety of options, which is great for anyone looking to try something new. The atmosphere is also really nice—it's clear they've put effort into creating a cool and inviting vibe.
Unfortunately, the experience was marred by a few issues. The communication from the staff regarding our order was lacking, which led to some confusion. The burgers and sides themselves, while sounding promising, didn’t quite hit the mark for me and I left feeling less satisfied than I’d hoped.
Given that they are quite new, I’m hopeful that these are just teething issues that will be resolved with time. I’ll likely give them another try down the line, but for now, there are some areas that could use improvement.
Update July 2025: Gave them another shot but my review still stands. For the amount you pay per burger, the portion size...

For dessert, the chocolate mud cake stole the show. A decadent treat for all chocolate lovers, it was rich, moist, and simply irresistible.
