Ingleburn RSL Club — Restaurant in Sydney

Last Sunday 23rd July, my family and I celebrated our son's Baptism. We hired the Bardia Room for functions to accommodate our 120 guests within the club and had selected the Standard Buffet Package which is arranged by the staff of Salute restaurant within the club.

From the minute that we enquired about our function we were met with a warm welcome and such professionalism by wonderful Robert and Lisa who manage the catering. We were handed a folder with full information on the different menu options and packages available. It was so helpful to see everything there and the range of options and choices was amazing. We simply emailed our choices through and Robert responded within a few hours confirming everything was OK. The day we went in to finalise payment, Robert had a booklet where he took detailed information from us in the room setup and reconfirming what our final preferences were for food and bar choices. What was super amazing was that, Robert and Lisa realising we were of Pacific Island heritage also avised we were allowed to take in a small range of our traditional Tongan foods to compliment and cater to our cultural diversity which was so amazing to have this option. A club that embraces, understands and accommodates this is so appreciated!

The day before the event we were allowed to go in and set up our decorations and the room was set up exactly how we had planned. The room comfortably fit our 120 guests with room for a walkway, the buffet, a small dance floor and area at the front to set up our decorations.

Everyone was so accommodating and professional who worked the day of thr function. They rolled with the flow of our event with minimal need for me to ask anything. Lisa was amazing in reading the room and organising the staff and timings and simple check in with me was all it took. I cannot fault anything!

The food... all our guests in thr days following the event reached to me and commented that the food choices were amazing buy most of all sooooo TASTY and DELICIOUS! If you know us islanders, you know we love our food and it's the way to our hearts hehehe. Even the gravy that was served for the roast meat was complimented.

The fact that there is also a children's play centre next door to the event I thought may cause distraction or be noisy for the event but we couldn't even hear anything. This play centre "Tabatinga" is a wonderful idea if you want to have the best of both worlds too. Host a function in the room with adults and accommodate children's play.

We had the best experience with Salute restaurant catering hosting our event which was also arranged last minute (only 2 weeks before the event). We highly recommend Ingleburn RSL and Salute Restaurant to support any function you...

We booked a celebration of life function for our recently deceased mother

From day 1 the functions manager has been excellent

We turned up on a Monday lunchtime without an appointment to view the available spaces

He took us straight in and explained the 3 spaces available. Assisted us to book a space on the spot for 120 people

During the 5 weeks between booking and the function he was on the ball organising food and our specific wishes etc

Promptly sent out the invoice for the deposit and had us locked in

On the day , we got there an hour early to ensure everything was set up and to our liking. We needn't have bothered. Everything was as expected and even exceeded our expectations.

On the day, nothing was too much issue. They changed the menu to add in some more kids food as we had a large amount of children

The food was hot and the drinks were cold.

The room is right next door to Tabatinga so the kids all had a little turn in there during the 3 hours we were there

The young guy running the bar was run off his feet but never without a smile or kind words the whole time

The functions manager and a few of his ladies were all present during the 3 hours and were quick and friendly.

To be honest..for the cost we were very pleasantly surprised. The day could not have gone off any better

Will be emailing the club tomorrow so they get the feed back for their team members.

Everyone on the day was lovely from the door staff to the functions and then the sports bar...

This place has really gone down hill fast, I went to have dinner and a beer with my mother after we ate we went to have a couple of beers and play the pokies, we had a worker come up to us her name was Amy I asked for 2 beers she came back with one. After I asked her what happened she said the beer you wanted is out but the bar staff said they know you and you drink a northern (I never drink northern) but I ordered a northern for my mother so she took it. I then told her I would like a VB she came back and said to me " here's your XXXX and this is out of my tips by the way" very rudely. I then told her I asked for a VB and she was very aggressive towards me and my mother for no reason and said I'll go get my manager, So my mum said fine I'll go talk to her to as my mother walked inside she then threatened to punch her face in. Then we had the managers come up to us we 2 security guards which was very confronting asking us what happened. Adrian was interrupting me when I was trying to explain to him what the story was... We then got told to leave for doing absolutely nothing wrong and being threatened by their staff. WELCOME TO...
