Lagonda Takeaway — Restaurant in Sydney

Well I was very excited to find this place after a recommendation by a mate. The overall impression reminds me of my childhood take away with a big interior and and a few tables and chairs and that hot chip smell lingering. Mmmm

I ordered some fish cocktails prawn cutlets potato scallops small chips for my brother and throw in a cheeseburger for good measure.

My brother loved his food although I ate a prawn cutlet on the way home lol my burger was fantastic really tasty and a great patty.

Supa happy I got to eat those fat chips of ole days of them being wrapped in newspaper yummmm

Nice and clean inside with some handy groceries definitely be back and I would’ve taken a pic if I’d not eaten it so quick ahhhh next time

I had been coming to this place for 10-15 years prior to 3 years ago, and I thought I’d come back to visit and get some food. I was very excited, but then disappointed by the quality of the food since the previous owners left, and the prices have gone up so much… this used to be my favourite place to get fish & chips, the best around. Not anymore. Old dirty oil that seriously needed replacing, made my fish taste off and then they overcooked my chips plus they tasted bad with the old oil so unfortunately I just threw them away, what a waste of $16.50. Even the bottle of coke I got wasn’t cold, must’ve just filled the fridge and not even rotated the cold ones to the...

This place has something interesting. Good and bad. The good the food is fresh, the calamari I have not had real calamari like that before, burgers are how a takeaway burger place should taste like. You can see the staff in the background cutting up fresh potatoes which Is awesome to see from a seafood place.

The bad it definitely needs a revamp decor etc, they sell groceries which is strange. You wouldnt know this place existed as you need to really look to notice the sign.
