KFC Yagoona — Restaurant in Sydney

For many years we have had problems with the KFC in Yagoona but the latest saga was the worst of all. On the 24th of March 2016 at around 9pm we pulled into the Drive Thru where there were was a long queue and thought maybe they were short of workers.

When we got to the speaker box, a young employee took our order but when asked about the then Limited Edition Zinger Black she struggled to respond. She then struggled to respond again when asked to repeat the order frustrating us even further as we were waiting in the long queue.

It had took nearly ten minutes each car to recieve their order. When we finally pulled up we asked her why was it taking so long. She replied by saying that there was only two staff were working. But then we saw through the window at least six staff including the manager who didnt even bother dealing with the situation between us and that employee.

She then told us that there were only two Zinger burgers left. But when we gave our money to pay for our order she then told us that they didnt have Potato and Gravy.

We then asked her if we could subsitute that for more Chicken. Instead of asking another employee she denied our request straight away by saying that they cant do that.

She couldnt give us Chicken, but she said they could give us more Chips, Drinks and Coleslaw of which we refused to take. But when we asked for a refund, she then said we can give you more Chicken.

She was then told by another employee that they were going to add another 6 pieces of Chicken. But we were told only one piece was added but was told off by that same employee that there was 6.

I have recorded this and have alerted people on my social media that this sort of employee and her customer service is crap and the manager of the store need to be sacked if he thinks this sort of customer service is okay.

The worst thing about this is that this employee does not want to take customer feedback. I have provided my feedback but then she stalks me and then threatens me with legal action stating that i am immature and making false declaration.

The best thing for this shop is to sack the entire staff and restaff it. Even the useless general manager who had no guts to deal with this problem with between us and this incompetent employee who had threaten to sue a customer for providing feedback.

Was discussing in the Battle Bus where to head to with my 4 man squad, initially we decided to go to Tomato Town but we ended up going to this Lucky Landing otherwise known as KFC Yagoona. We were expecting a Junk Junction sort of restaurant but when we got there and it felt like we were back in Pleasant Park. I do have to say it was abit of a Greasy Grove but otherwise, wonderful place! We were talking to one of their employees at the counter, Mr Reynolds. We got in a 4v1 situation with the man, although he popped a Launch Pad, he was a great service to us. We ordered our meals, handed over our VBucks and took a seat. Waiting for the food is like waiting for the Battle Bus to arrive, Fast! The food service is abit wonky, We ordered a Chug Jug and a couple Medkits, alongside 2 Large Shields. Instead we were served a Slurp Juice and 6 MiniShields! We were quite ticked off but we were approached by another wonderful employee, Mr Wick. This individual went back into the Locker and handed us the correct meal, plus some Bandages ontop for the inconvenience. We continued eating inside the restaurant at our table and about 7 minutes later a Dark Knight and a Rust Lord got in a fit next to the counter. Mr Wick came AutoRunning out and popped a Jubilation in the middle of them. I dont know what it is about him but dang! Flippin' Sexy! Anyways once we finished eating there, we went back in line to tip some VBucks to the employees and some Dark Voyager hotshot pushed in infront of us and was served. We decided to let it go but decided to only tip Mr Reynolds and Mr Wick. This experience was wonderful! The place, the employees, the people, Outstanding! Will be telling more of my mates to drop here instead of Tilted Towers for a bite from now on! We Rate this place 9.5/10...

This was one of the best KFC within Australia, but over the years, should now receive the award and title for "The Worst KFC in the World".

Where does one start?

Customer Service is non-existent. I don't know where they get their staff, but none of them would gain employment anywhere else. They are rude, distracted, unfriendly, non-welcoming ... the list goes on. Not only that, but they CONSTANTLY get orders wrong. The order is placed correctly, but you MUST check your order before leaving the store, as they have given you incorrect items or ripped you off by giving you less. This is especially regarding drinks, as they "conveniently" forget to give your drinks.

They are also VERY slow with their service. I and others have waited over 30 minutes at times after our orders have been taken. They constantly run out of items, especially chicken. You read that correctly; "chicken". This is their main product, yet seem to run out. This is due to management, as they are aware of when their busy periods are throughout the day, yet "forget" to put more on and have on standby prior to the rush.

The restaurant was filthy and smelt like a public restroom. Recently, they underwent construction to upgrade. This was simply make-up applied. It might look nice, but simply look around and see the filth, including cockroaches and even mice scattering about.
