The young blonde girl serving us had such a bad attitude that it ruined our night! It was probably the worst service I ever received!
Upon arrival, the girl in question was rude to my sister who (rightfully) assumed her seat was the table set up for four with the highchair which was requested. The waitress rudely asked her to get off the table and wait, to which she later realised that was in fact our table and said she can sit back down there.
We were ignored when trying to order entrees, and when I finally demanded her attention she stomped over to us and took our order with hostility. The eyerolls when asking questions about the menu were really unappreciated and unnecessary.
When ordering mains, again, the repeated eyerolls with questions were present, along with a loud and rude "NO WE DON'T DO THAT" when asking about a vegetarian lasagne took us all in shock. No offering alternatives, no asking the chef how he can accommodate (it wasn't very busy so a little bit of extra service would have been appreciated like other restaurants do) would have been welcomed.
When asking whether the restaurant has hand sanitiser, she rudely said "ïts on the bar go and get it!" We were all quite offended by that exclamation, and we instead asked her to bring it over, which she did.
We had a 20 month old with us, who wanted to walk around after an hour and a half of sitting, which is understandable. He went over and grabbed a bowl from near the kitchen entrance, and I quickly grabbed it off him and handed it back to her, which she snatched out of my hand rudely and rolled her eyes. I can appreciate that children can be a nuisance, but again, the snatching, shortness and rudeness of this particular waitress was unnecessary. We are out for a nice meal, and don't need to feel belittled by staff.
Her attitude and behavior dampened our entire evening, and after finishing our meal we couldn't wait to leave as we all felt very uncomfortable and intimidated.
I really did not want to leave a horrible public review as I understand, as a small business owner myself, that it is momentarily very tough for local institutions but I felt that you needed to know how badly we were treated by this young waitress representing...

Being in the industry for 20 years I'm fully aware of the current staff shortage issues we are all facing. With that being said, tonight we probably had the worst service we have experienced in a while. Front of house service is equally as important as the food being served. Either one can ruin a night for the customer. The food is always good here but the service tonight really put us of from returning again. The manager was more concerned with uber eats service than the guests in the restaurant. It took us 15 minutes to get any attention from either waitress to take our order. Plates not cleared before next course. Extra napkins we requested to mop up a spilt drink from our 4 year birthday girl never arrived. My wife dropped her folk on the floor and politely asked the waitress for a replacement with which the waitress responded with a yes, only to return to setting up the table next to us for 15 minutes and not bringing a replacement, i ended up giving my folk to the wife and using the dirty folk. No one came to the table to clear it. I had to go and pay for our meal as we were ignored completely and then was over charged for the meal.
Again i know its tough going in the hospitality industry currently, but poorly trained inattentive staff will ruin your long standing reputation you have built up.
Have never felt so ignored in a restaurant before.

Read moreI went to this restaurant on last Wednesday. I had a Boscaiola to take away. (I had just one meal at that day) Then, next day from 5 am, I started to vomit and had a diarrhoea. I've been vomited over 8-9 times and had fever, stomach cramps ..etc. So I went to doctor at 2 pm at that day. And the doctor said it is 'Food Poisoning'. I am an international so I do not have a medical card so I paid lots of money. Woo-hoo! I couldn't complained in there for few days because I was sick and I could not even go to work. I went to complain about food poison yesterday around 4-5 pm. I told them to tell the manager/owner about this situation and tell them to call me and leave my phone number. Today, JUST A STAFF called me with their restaurant number and told me that they are sorry but they cannot do anything with it because the only me had a food poisoning. I wonder they been taught food hygiene or not because I am a chef/cook too and been educated about the importance of food hygiene. They said food poisoning symptoms could be started few days(3 days) later. BUT THE FUNNY THING IS THAT I HAD ANYTHING WHOLE MEAL FOR 3 DAYS EXCEPT THE PASTA. I JUST HAD SOME NUT BAR AND SOMETHING SIMPLE. AND I WANT TO TELL YOU GUYS, THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE. I EXPECTED AT LEAST PROPER APOLOGY.
