Milano Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Sydney

Went for dinner with three friends last night. Absolute disaster. This restaurant used to be a fine dining restaurant but not any more. It's now been reduced to a bistro with no kids meals or entrees. There's a pool table where the musician used to be. The night started out with no pineapple juice for the cocktails so the only person at the bar drove to a shop to get some while we were left waiting. One drink was a JD with soda and a slice of lemon. There wasn't any lemon. The waiter put lemon juice (?) Into the drink instead without asking so needless to say that went back to be remade. After pondering over the over priced menu with very boring options, three of us decided to have a good old stand by of fish and chips only for the waiter to come back and tell us they were out of fish and chips. Needless to say they were then out of four customers because we took our business elsewhere and won't be back. Don't get sucked into the flashy advertising on their website or out the front of the establishment. It's sad because this place used to be full of diners and serving delicious food. Waste...

Booked online (their website uses Dimmi) however when arriving, was told that they don't take bookings through their website any longer. Were quite rude about it and asked if I could wait for a table. I decided to wait, and it took about 15 minutes so it wasn't too bad of a wait anyway. The food was actually reasonable albeit quite expensive for what it is. But very fresh and nice. The service is what ruined it completely. Inattentive, ignorant, rude. They definitely should update their website if they aren't taking online bookings. Decent food but the service will ruin...

Woeful service. Arrived at 6PM, we were the only customers yet waited half an hour for bruscehta entree. After complaining to cooks, it was brought out straight away, the waiter too lazy to bring it over. The dory in beer batter was not fresh, have been on the toilet all night, Had to go to bar to ask for bill, waiter appears by magic, otherwise nowhere to be seen. Avoid this so called restaurant, you will get better service and food...
