Pleasant Surprise at Montbleu Cafe

I stepped into Montbleu Cafe with a curious mix of skepticism and intrigue. The menu was an unexpected blend of Australian and Asian cuisine, leaving me wondering how well they could pull it off. Sushi in a cafe? It seemed like an odd pairing, but I was willing to give it a shot.

The moment our beverages and food arrived, my doubts vanished. The friendly and helpful staff set the tone for a delightful experience. Let me share the highlights of our meal:

GRILLED SALMON ROLLS: These little delights were nothing short of divine. The salmon melted on my tongue, and the toppings burst with flavors. Whoever crafted this dish knew their way around flavor combinations. GUILTY PLEASURE BURGER: My son, a self-proclaimed burger connoisseur, devoured this creation. He declared it the best burger he’d had in a long time. Juicy, flavorful, and guilt-inducing in all the right ways. HONOLULU POKE BOWL: My wife, a fan of fresh and healthy options, indulged in the Honolulu Poke Bowl. She raved about its freshness and smooth taste. The combination of ingredients was spot-on. Chai, Coffee, and Milkshake: The trio of beverages didn’t disappoint either. Each was well-made, full of flavor, and complemented our meal perfectly. We left Montbleu Cafe with satisfied taste buds and a promise to return. Next time, we’ll explore more of their delicious offerings. If you’re in Illawong, don’t miss...

We recently moved to the area and have been treating ourselves to a Sunday breakfast at Montbleu most weekends. You can tell that they take pride in their cooking and plate presentation because the food is always so tasty and reasonably portioned. We will say that there have been some occasions where we have waited a little while to order because our table was forgotten about by the waitstaff, but apart from that, we enjoy coming here for our regular Sunday breakfast and we will definitely be visiting for dinner sometime soon! Thank you Montbleu, we...

Cafe MontBleu is one of those spots in Illawong that I just keep coming back. The food here is consistently fresh and delicious, with a great mix of Asian and Aussie flavors. Whether you’re after a classic brunch or something with a bit of an Asian kick, they’ve got you covered.

But honestly, the real star here is the coffee. It’s hands down the best in the area smooth, rich, Plus, the staff are always super friendly, making the whole experience feel really welcoming...

Amazing food in a hidden spot of Illawong. The Korean/Japanese inspired menu is well thought out with a wide variety of breakfast and brunch items to keep coming back for more. The service was amicable and attentive, always with a smile. The bento boxes were beautifully presented and the taste matches any authentic bento you might find in the Sydney CBD. Keep up the great work guys! Please don’t miss out on this wonderful brunch spot
