We went to this restaurant to celebrate two special birthdays within our family. There were four of us and we wanted to do something special so chose this expensive restaurant. The location was beautiful and the service was good until two couples and their 6 children were sat next to us. For the rest of the evening we had children screaming and swinging off our chairs. It was terrible. We could have had a more peaceful dinner at a local restaurant and paid a quarter of the price. What I couldn't understand is why this group was sat next to us when more than half the restaurant was empty! The waiters couldn't even get through to top up our wine glasses at some stages and ended up just taking our bottle away so we thought it was empty... but still nothing was done about the behaviour of the children.
The food was good but my husband's veal was chewy. I would have expected better quality food for the price but it was ok. They didn't have the wine I ordered so we had to pick something else.
What topped it off though was that the waiter asked for a tip! I almost said to him he was lucky that I was paying at all given the experience! I travel most weeks for work and am fortunate enough to eat in some lovely restaurants. This one definitely wouldn't make it on my list of good restaurants or anywhere I would want to go back to. A real disappointment for two...

I should have trusted the mixed bag of recent reviews and never taken my family there. Arrived with extended family to celebrate a birthday and upon entering felt like I had been thrust into a time warp, this place is a decaying relic of times gone by.
I’m sure Lugarno Seafood has had its heyday, but it’s obvious from the get go, that this establishment has long since past its prime.
Service: gruff, inattentive, sad old waiters rush you through the ordering process. We truly felt like we’d stepped back into a restaurant from 30-40 years ago.
Food and Drink: over priced, unimaginative and dull dull dull. Food was dry and under seasoned, drinks over priced and just plain depressing. 25 dollars for a cocktail in this day and age, I expect a little bit more. Premixed margarita mix just ain’t gonna cut it. The seafood was lacklustre and bulked out with fruit and garnish. One of our guests ordered the lamb special, only to be served what could best be called leather, where is the love of cooking in this place?!
The Bill: this was the real shock. For over $500 between 4 pax in Sydney there is a certain level of expectation. There are many fine restaurants in this city that would outshine anything I’ve just sampled here.
Do not waste your hard earned money at...

Parking- Yeah look it’s pretty bad not much can be done but I appreciate the effort put in to cater for people can’t tell the rocks to move themselves.
Entry- Instantly greeted, Reservation was taken and we chose our seats. We chose to sit outside being it was a little hot but personal choice.
Service- Water was instantly served chilled, not a fan of having the waiter to refill my glass every 10 minutes felt like I had to earn my own water. Moving on the waiters were super kind taking our orders, Perfection can’t say anything bad
Food- I chose oysters for entree and the snapper pie for mains, Oysters were great although the bed of salt they sat on seemed to get inside from prep and gave me a hell of an awakening. It wasn’t fun. Snapper pie was amazing, the pastry perfected and like most pies where it’s super greasy and buttery this one was different. Super creamy great fish to veg ratio. These guys ain’t scamming!
The Bill- Now now it’s a seafood establishment by the water if your winging about price go get fast food otherwise amazing experience.
Points Let people pour their own water no need to thirst them till you appear at their table.
-May be a one time mistake but ensure huge salt rocks done find their way into peoples oysters.
Great job will...
