Piccolo Me North Rocks — Restaurant in Sydney

It’s a shame to be writing this review. But I’ve always been a fan of Piccolo me.

However with Piccolo Me North Rocks, they have no respect and no integrity to the brand. It isn’t the first time I’ve bought food here full price, with the product incomplete. They’ll charge you full price, and not unless you notice. They won’t tell you.

I bought a hang over roll, priced at $12, comes with bacon and egg, cheese and hashbrown. This time, it came with no hashbrown. Other times, it has come with a scallop. The thing is with that is, they won’t ask your permission just in case you don’t notice. So they can take your money, due to the brand selling itself.

Unfortunately this has destroyed my trust and reputation with piccolo me, especially north rocks.

The staff team seem to have no respect when I communicated my complaint. Instead of realising that it was their fault, the excuse was ‘we ran out of stock’. Why wasn’t this communicated from the beginning before I was charged full price? Absolutely disappointing and no integrity...

Good seating area to chill and catch up with your local friends and neighbours.

Can’t say their burgers and coffee are the best I’ve had around the area. Tried their Chick Magnet. Though the chicken is good, for the price of a combo it’s average for my opinion. The burger is rather blend, like the cheese didn’t melt with other ingredients. Don’t usually compare but I’ve had better burgers for almost half of their value (e.g Susie Duke 2min drive away).

Tried their coffee twice - their coffee tasted watered down and regular costs $5 per cup. Bit exploiting their local advantage (as there are not many cafe around open on weekends like they do)

Customer is generally fine, except the pushy lady at the counter who treats patrons like a casual canteen going through lunch rushes when there’s no rush at all. Haha just my impression, maybe I was expecting too much for the value.

I go to north rocks for work during the week, most days go to Piccolo me for coffee/foods, all the stuff are very nice except that lady, she has been providing terrible customer service. She has always been rude whenever I visited the restaurant. So, first I thought it’s only me. My friends faced similar instances. But she is humble with people of colours. I went to buy some food today, so their automatic checkout wasn’t working, I showed the payment and order number in the counter, first when they lady put the takeaway meal on the surface for collection, she tend to throw it, second she was asking the girl next to her if I have paid for the meal or not. This made me so uncomfortable. Only reason, I wouldn’t recommend going to that restaurant because...
