The baristas here are true artists – every sip is rich, smooth, and absolutely delicious. Trust me, it’s the best coffee you’ll find around!

I’ve tried a few dishes, and everything tastes fresh, flavorful, and made with care. Unfortunately I only have this cafe in my local area, I walk past it to get the train to go somewhere else. My daughter was leaving to go up the coast for a while and we decided to go there and get a nice goodbye breakfast before getting the train. We gave ourselves a couple of hours so we could take our time. Got there and ordered 2 x eggs bene a hot chocolate and a fresh orange juice. Took almost an hour for the chocolate and juice. Hot chocolate was cold and the juice was warm. Waited another almost half an hour for the eggs bene. Went and asked the girl where it was and she said they were too busy to start cooking it. They would get to it soon. I asked for a refund at the stage we had to leave. They gave me the refund but she was not happy about doing it. I found the service to be terrible and ruined our farewell. I live a couple of minutes from there and would love a local cafe but not this place. Maybe having someone dedicated to kitchen duties during the busy times...

The coffee here is awesome, have been coming on-and-off for the last year and a half since moving to the area and it's always consistently good. I have had the food here a few times, too, and always enjoyed it, but I don't eat a lot of takeout generally because of a bunch of weird dietary requirements I have (I'm allergic to half the foods on earth as well as my own shadow it seems!).

I saw some recent (this year) reviews about the coffee being inconsistent or a weird temperature depending on who makes it and I was very confused by that.

I always order the same thing - soy flat white, jumbo, not TOO hot. I would be willing to bet money that if I had taken the temperature of my coffee every time it would have been the same. Always the perfect temperature, and always a great-tasting coffee, no matter which one of the 3 or 4 people I see behind the counter make it.

Would very much recommend and will continue dropping in for good-quality...
