I ordered Butter Chicken and Chicken Biryani as take-away. Before ordering, I specifically asked if they used sugar in the Butter Chicken. The staff member assured me that they did not, unless someone requested extra mild. Nearly all Indian restaurants use sugar in their Butter Chicken, but there are a few that stick to the authentic recipe. I trusted her words.
Before picking up my order, I asked her to double-check with the chef, but she insisted that it wouldnât be sweet. Guess whatâit was sweet. This could have been dangerous, as my father, who is diabetic, took a bite before realizing. It could have had serious consequences.
I called the restaurant immediately, and the same staff member answered. When I asked to speak to the manager or chef, she said they were busy and hung up on me. This was extremely unprofessional.
The entire experience was unacceptable, from the misleading information about the food to the dismissive service. It shows a complete lack of responsibilityâespecially when it comes to potential health risks. If the staff was unsure, they should have verified with the chef. What if this was about an allergen like nuts? Such negligence is inexcusable.
Your staffâs carelessness wonât just lose you customersâit could seriously harm someone. Take your customers seriously and train your staff to do their jobs properly. I will never return to this restaurant and strongly advise others to...

I recently dined at sanjah Punjab restaurant and had a fantastic experience. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with vibrant decor that reflects Indian culture. The staff was friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome right away. For starters, we tried the samosas and pakoras, both of which were perfectly crispy and packed with flavor The tamarind chutney that accompanied them was a delightful touch
For theed the butter chicken and paneer tikka masala. The butter chicken was creamy and rich, with just the right amount of spice, while the paneer tikka masala was a perfect balance of flavors. The naan was fresh and soft, ideal for soaking up the delicious sauces.
To finish, we had the gulab jamun, which was the perfect sweet endingâwarm and indulgent.
Overall, Sanjha Punjab exceeded my expectations. The food was authentic and delicious, and the service was impeccable. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to enjoy a...
Read moreThe entire family loves dining at Sanjah Punjab but my experience was different and not so satisfactory. Seems like the management, staff and the chef has changed.
Customer Service was slow and not quite friendly as compared to what we experienced previously (10 on 10)
The food ordered yesterday was Daal Makhni which appeared on the table without any Butter/Makhan (as per the dish name) nor any malai/cream on top.
Ordered Butter Naans which again had no butter on it - I had to ask them to show me how a plain naan would.look if that's the way their Butter naan looked like.
Customer Service girl at the counter didn't seem to know that she is way too loud when communicating with the kitchen staff/chef as we could hear her complain and chuck a tantrum on my feedback with respect to DAAL MAKHNI AND BUTTER NAANS.
Food taste otherwise...
