This is the best sponge cake that I’ve ever eaten. I am obsessed with sponge cake, yes I do love fancier cakes as well, but there is something so delicious about a good cream sponge cake. There were so many flavours of sponge cake to choose from, I decided to order the chocolate sponge cake and honestly it was the best sponge cake that I’ve ever eaten. The sponge cake part was so deliciously soft and light and then the fresh cream chocolate filling inside and on the outside of the sponge cake was to die for! Altogether the chocolate sponge cake was absolute perfection. Now I know why customers travel far and wide to buy Taddy’s Cakes and Pies cakes. Next time I want to try their cheesecake and the strawberry sponge cake.

I ordered a 10" choc caramel sponge cake for a family birthday party. It was amazing! Great size for a big group, the sponge was so fresh, layered with delicious cream.....a step up from the usual birthday sponge! A Masterchef creation....would thoroughly recommend!

Came here for the fresh and delicious pies, did not disappoint. They have a fair variety of cakes and pies from classics to specials like a cheeseburger pie which was very interesting. They also have some seating outside to sit and enjoy

Taddy's Cakes & Pies at Blaxland is my go-to place when I feel like a decent, home-cooked pie! I can highly recommend the Curry Chicken pie! It has just the right amount of "heat" in the curry sauce and is packed with chunky pieces of quality chicken.

Jason, Kristin and Barbara are always very friendly and welcoming.

Service is great and nothing is too much trouble for them!

On some occasions, I do a work run and purchase a couple of boxes of mixed cold pies for some ex-colleagues of mine.

Needless to say, they are very appreciative of this.

I have had pies in various places around Australia, from Hobart, Melbourne, Sydney and even Broken Hill.

In my opinion, Taddy's always rates better than a 10 out of 10!

I found out about Taddys on Facebook and made my way up the mountain (Blaxland) to go see for myself. I was not disappointed. My chicken, mushroom and bacon pie was so delicious and passed the one handed eating test. Jason also made me a fantastic Almond Latte. The little eating area is peaceful and you can’t hear the cars on the highway. Very relaxing. I decided on the spot to order my son’s Chocolate Mudcake from them. Ordering was very easy and Jason was so helpful. I was impressed with the service. Come Saturday, our cake was ready and looked great. We had it that night and my son couldn’t stop mmm mmming the whole time eating it. That’s a sure fire winner. Thanks Jason and team. We will be back for your pies, coffee and cakes....
