I came here to grab some takeaway lunch with friends on a Sunday. We ordered chicken and gravy rolls, a fish burger, chips and a few salads. The salads lacked flavour and seasoning. The broccolini salad had fresh dill, corriander and mint which was a strange combination. The chicken and gravy rolls were luke-warm, and taste was well below average. The bread was thick, soggy, and stale. The chicken was tough, dry, and lacked any flavour and seasoning. The shoestring fries were cold and soggy. We only live across the road so it didn't have far to travel. The fish burger didn't come with a nice fillet of fish as expected - it was three small fish fingers in a burger. Wouldn't recommend coming here.

Veggie pies are a delicate endeavour. Often flavourless or ironically full of margarine and pastry so brick like, they stuff you up for yonks. The pie here is well made and buttery, as you'd expect for $10. Tragically, the filling isn't roasted veggies, as promised but lentils...no problem there, I'll puy anytime. Sadly the filling was as bland as it was scarce. Pity, it, like me was full of promise.

This has to be the greatest fried chicken I’ve ever ate and don’t get me started on the roast potatoes (they were life changing). Take this from a man whose favourite food is fried chicken. coleslaw was delicious as well and it’s all ready to within 5 mins. Staff are lovely. Ignore the reviews (if you can’t afford good fried chicken there’s a kfc down the road)

Very dissapointing. I haven't been here for quite some time. They must of changed hands. The food used to be top notch gourmet, now it's suburban hamburger joint. Dry, tasteless, baked potatoes, tastless pumpkin and undercooked broccoli. The chicken wings were also dry. Don't they even taste their food before serving? No love or care in this kitchen, but they sure do love to charge you for it! I didn't see any replies to negative reviews from the owner! If I was them, I'd be very concerned about this feedback. The one redeeming feature was the friendly and helpful staff. Needless to say, I...

I've been coming here since they have opened and regularly buy from here however the other afternoon I bought chips which cost $8.50 but was charged $11.50. When enquired why the cost difference, I was told that they charge $3.00 for the bit of extra salt on the chips I've asked for. But I said it's not on your board, only sauces are extra however got the shoulder shrug......wow, that is what you get from businesses taking advantage of Covid restrictions.

Never heard of extra charge for a bit of salt in my life, so be careful when anyone asks for extra salt...
